Supported fans/temperatures cards

AIDA64 supports such controllers like Koolance TMS and T-Balancer, but it doesn't support any PCI cards using such facilities. Are you sure the Bitfenix Recon is a PCI card? If yes, then does it offer any SDK or software API that AIDA64 could connect to?

I have an AquaComputer Aquaero 6 PRO and use their Aquasuite to control and monitor my water cooling system.

It would be a great boon if I could monitor the water cooling system via AIDA64... control may be left to Aquasuite as it is generally only done at setup.

We've already ordered an Aquaero 5 Pro (and also an old Aquaero 4.00), although not with that idea on mind, but rather to find out whether we could drive its LCD display from AIDA64 :) Once the device arrives, we'll check if it's possible to read such information from it. What data would you like to see in AIDA64? Temperatures and fan/pump RPM?

But I believe the MPS sensors may only work with the Aquaero 6 versions... the 6 is a major upgrade over 5. http://forum.aquacomputer.de/weitere-foren/english-forum/103573-new-aquaero-6/

On a similar but different note, the third and last application I have displaying system status parameters is Corsair Link. AIDA64 already reads most of the information, such as voltages, but there are a few PSU statistics not currently available. Particularly Power In, Power In Max, Power Out, Power Out Max, Efficiency, PSU Temperature, PSU Fan Speed and the Mains Voltage & Amperage.

 

Is it feasible to pick those up also?

The current Corsair Link solution sadly doesn't support proper data sharing between 3rd party applications and the Corsair Link software. Corsair wants to roll out a completely revamped new Corsair Link software stack this year, and they promised that one will be much more advanced, with proper data sharing capabilities. As soon as the new software is ready, we'll start working on it for AIDA64.

I have a water cooling system. I would like a cheap solution to insert more sensors.

I am using lcdhost to show informations on the screen of my logitech G19s and aida64 to grab sensors informations and pass them to the other program.

I have a speed fan controller of the Sunbeam connected to three fans on the water cooler. I can change the speed by hand from 0 to 12v, so fan are off when i need silence. The fan's speed pin is connected to the mainboard and i can get and show the speed of each fan on my logitech G19s screen.

I have buyed (i am waiting them) a water temperature sensor and a water flow sensor. I will try to get informations to show them on the keyboard screen, but i need more slot to connect them.

Thank you, we'll check them once our Aquaero 5 Pro arrives.

 

I noticed the aquaeros 4 through 6 have been implemented in AIDA64 recently, which leads to 2 questions:

 

1: how does one access the aquaero LCD screen (I think that is what was implemented)

2: were you able to determine if you will be able to bring the information from the aquero into AIDA64?

1) On Aquaero 4 you have to select the USB-LCD screen. On Aquaero 5 & 6 you have to change one of the screens to USB-LCD.

2) Yes, we can read the information block from the Aquaero, but its layout is quite complex, so we need a bit more time to process it and "wire" it to the existing sensor module of AIDA64.

Where does AIDA64 place WMI information if activated? The help file says "Root\WMI\AIDA64_SensorValues", but I cannot find it.

It appears if I can find that, I may be able to bring AIDA64 sensor info into the AquaComputer Aquasuite program.

I hope I'm reading this correctly and you all are working to allow AIDA64 to read sensor data from an Aquaero.  I have an Aquaero 6 Pro and would like to be able to view all my data on my keyboards LCD screen.

Yes, that's correct. But I'm afraid this part of the year is very busy, with all the new hardware launches, so we need a bit more time to understand and process the layout of the Aquaero readings. Both the old Aquaero 4 and the newer models are very "German", in a good way :) It's very technical, very well structured, very complex, and capable of doing a lot of things. It's not easy to find a common ground with that and the existing sensor module of AIDA64. It's also time consuming to see what we can do with a standalone Aquaero module, and find out what readings may come from external modules and additional (optional) modules. AIDA64 already supports a few fan controller and temperature measurement devices, but none of them is even half as complicated as the Aquaero devices.

I am using Aquasuite, and yes I do see it now. Initially I was looking for a folder named "WMI" in the C:\ drive root directory, to confirm the data was being exported to disk.

 

I still have not found that, but am able to see AIDA as a data source in Aquasuite... Just have to learn how to drive it now.

I am seeing some info not updating, but that may well be my lack of experience. I am at baby step one at least. :)

AIDA64 already supports a few fan controller and temperature measurement devices

 

I looked into those before getting the Aquaero and couldn't find them anywhere.  I look forward to seeing what you all are able to figure out with the Aquaero.  Whenever that may be.

Just let me add my appreciation that you want to include the monitoring of the Aquaero values. Is there any news about your progress?

 

And while talking about this, I got my self a Thermaltake DPS-G power supply which features monitoring of power, efficiency, voltage etc. but the available app is beyond awful (it doesn't start at all most of the times). Is there any chance that you might add support for these values? I don't even know if TT made it possible in any way for a third party app to read this values...

Are there any plans to support the Aquastream XT or the AquaSuite? The suit already supports exporting sensor data (Shared Memory or XML file)

When an Aquacomputer device is connected via Aquabus, then AIDA64 should be able to provide sensor information for it. However, when a non-Aquaero/Aquaduct device is connected via USB, it's not handled by AIDA64 currently. We'll work on that.

As for Aquasuite, we currently have no plans to import data from that application.

The Aquastream XT has its own sensors and is one of the most common used pump device. An Aquabus or Aquaero is not necessary, that pump could send its data directly to an Aquabus device or via USB to the Aquasuite Software. So I assume it should be easy to add it your existing Aquacomputer sensor implementation.
