Remote monitoring and remote control for full operation and have the necessary AIDA64 on each desktop?

Yes, you need to have AIDA64 running on all your computers that you want to monitor or control remotely.

1. how about different OS, is it possible to connect remote computers from Win7 to WinXP.?
2. and lastly, do I need to create a home group to connect to remote computers?

1) You can do remote monitoring, remote reporting and remote control between different OS versions.

2) There's no such restriction. All you need to have is TCP/IP connection between the computers.
