We've implemented generic HID UPS support, and extended the battery information on the Computer / Power Management page using HID calls. We've also added quite a few new readings, like Battery Input Voltage, Battery Output Voltage, Battery Output Current, Battery Output Power, etc. Please note that not all those readings are available on a UPS. The most readings are supported by such higher-end models as APC Smart-UPS Series.

Make sure to upgrade to the following new beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition:

After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.

Everything is working, just have "unknow" on battery % status, charge and remaining but i can live with it! Good work!!

Should I be able to show "Power State" and "Estimated Battery Time" on my SensorPanel display?


Currently those items not available for OSD Panel or SensorPanel. We'll work on that, and as soon as there's an update, we'll post it into this topic.

Meanwhile, can you please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> System Debug --> Battery Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. We'd like to check whether more sensor readings may be available for your UPS that we should implement.

Wow, you folks are phenomenal, unbelievable even. :wub:

It looks like I have 3 new items available, "Master Volume", "Estimated Battery Time" and "Power State".
I have not formatted my SensorPanel display yet, but I do show the 3 new values just below the Aida64 icon.
I may loose the BlueEye and place the battery info there.

Yes, I'm afraid a slight issue has slipped into Build 1847 about that. It sometimes works, but other cases it fails. We'll fix that in the next AIDA64 beta release.

True, which brings us back to the start of my second sentence :)

The primary purpose of the post was to perhaps help narrow the section of code for the developers to look at in case the issue had not been nailed down yet. But knowing Fiery & Co, that's probably not an issue. :)

Started and restarted AIDA64 7 times with battery info properly displayed each time. Thank you.

Edit: After a complete system power-down and restart cycle, battery info still properly displayed.

i have the smart ups 2200i and it all works apart for battery life, the powerchute shows install date so i wonder if the following will help ?
