Incorrect temps? (Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L & Pentium E5200)

This isn't an issue with AIDA64 alone, but I'm curious if there's a fix. For whatever reason the lowest my core temperatures go is 40 C and 35 C. I'm also not convinced the CPU temperature is correct either. It's running a stock HSF and the ambient temp as of writing is 58 F/ 14.44 C. See attached pic. Right now I'm running the latest beta that came out today (2-5-12 or 5-2-12).

Here's the CPUID and MSR dump:

Core temperatures (measured via Intel DTS core diode sensors) are known to be inaccurate on Core 2-family processors, and the inaccuracy gets worse as your CPU cools down. Under 50 Celsius it gets quite inaccurate.

As for the CPU temperature, some Gigabyte motherboards are known to provide unrealistically low temperature readings. Make sure to verify the CPU temperature against Gigabyte EasyTune. If the CPU temperature measured by EasyTune doesn't match AIDA64, then please create an ISA Sensor Dump, and copy-paste the results into this topic.

Thanks,

Fiery
