The raspberry pi and computer have the correct font installed, and where I can change character encoding it's set to automatic or UTF-8.
My Windows is set up to use English (UK) with Swedish input, region, and regional format.

Have I missed something in some setup somewhere?

My system character set is utf-8, but all Chinese character is mistaken Code.

is it possible that you change a translation in the file lang_fr?

The translation called portuguese_pt that exists for AIDA64 is, in fact, brazilian and not portuguese from Portugal.

I would like to help and make the translation for portuguese (Portugal) but I don't find english module.

If you have any interess on it let me know how I can get the english file.

I think the actual translation should be renamed to lang_br to avoid mistakes.

With the latest beta version, there is a small translation bug
With the French language, "Cooling Fans" and "Voltage Values" are well translated at the opening, then immediately reverts to the English version

By using German (or Austrian) regional formats in Windows, it is common to have decimal and digit group separators swapped.

Therefore it is mostly impossible to make use of decimal values generated by AIDA64, because the decimal symbol is ignored or wrongly interpreted.

I'd love to see an option to change that symbol, like it is already implemented for the degree symbol! 

It would help me a lot, because the only workaround I have is to manually alter the Windows defaults for my language setup which affects everything.

I attached the file I modified (just remove such chars) for comparing.

Another problem is, when I set Windows non-Unicode encoding to non-English language, (in my situation, Simplified Chinese) and set AIDA64 in SC, checking for update will get an irregular popup window as pic 1.

And language menu always has messy codes for the languages that are different with current non-Unicode setting (pic 2 and 3)

I suggest to provide UTF-8 support to deal with such encoding problem.

In the lang file in TXT from visual studio code, and I see there are unrecognizable characters - �

the characters are typical of the Spanish language, such as accents and the letter Ñ, this is due to incorrect character encoding, and I would like to know if AIDA supports Unicode UTF-8 BOM encoding.

I am also correcting the translation file.

On the Software\Installed programs page, the column "Publisher" that displays the program manufacturer is not included on language modules, so it is always shown in English. Could you please add the concerning line to the modules for localization?

How I can do it？

Considering that AIDA64 is available in multiple languages, it would be nice to enhance this experience even more by providing localized help too.

As there is a Language folder for the various UI translation files, there could be another folder named Help containing the CHM ones. To keep localized manuals up to date, you could use the same *** marking used in language files, but inside <! tags before the changed lines; if during development this is not as easy as for language files, translators may use file comparing tools.

EULAs in different languages, of course, would include a link to the English version of the agreement, since in case of conflicts between a translated version and the English one this is the controlling document.

There is only one entry for Device Resources, used both on list view for a particular device and for the page Device Resources. While it is right for English, in Spanish is necessary to differentiate with a plural and a singular: for the page name it should be possible have an entry to localize it as Recursos de dispositivos since it refers to multiple devices, and another for the list view when A64 shows resources for a particular device (IRQ, memory etc.) to translate it as Recursos del dispositivo.

On the Motherboard\CPU page, the Engineering Sample field is not localizable using the language module files. As this is not a proprietary technology or trademark name, it should be added together to other fields on this page.

I saw that component names on the Operating System page are not localized. Although Common Controls is likely to be important only for developers which normally work in English, some components are seen by the user and in some cases with their names translated. For example, the shown name for Windows Media Player in Spanish, despite I think the translation could be better, is Reproductor de Windows Media, and the Novell Client Cliente Novell.

As each translation team have different policy depending the language. For this reason, I think you should include the component names into A64 language modules to allow localizers to have names translated where Windows translators in their languages decided to provide translated titles.
