We like to share a project we're working on with a lot of care and passion over the past months: SynQPanel.

SynQPanel is a Windows desktop panel visualization application designed to present AIDA64 hardware telemetry in clean, compact, and highly customizable layouts - especially suited for secondary displays and dedicated monitoring screens. It will be available FREE OF COST!!

This post is an early introduction and teaser ahead of a public release. We created this thread so that we can add the URL in the application UI and further, we will use it for discussions!

What is SynQPanel?

SynQPanel provides a visual layer on top of AIDA64 Shared Memory, allowing users to design information-dense dashboards composed of multiple visual elements.

The focus is not on replacing AIDA64, but on presenting its data differently - with some different control over layout, density, and visual intent.

The project is:

• Open-source
• Built with WPF (.NET )
• Designed around clarity, precision, and long-term maintainability
   

The purpose of the project is to act as an external visualization frontend for sensor data (for example, animated or stylized sensor panels).
All rendering, UI, and animation logic are handled entirely within the external application; AIDA64 remains unchanged and is used solely as the data provider.

To clarify the project’s scope:

• Uses only AIDA64’s documented shared memory interface
• Does not include or distribute any AIDA64 components
• Does not bypass licensing, UI limitations, or protections
• Clearly states non-affiliation:

• Does not use AIDA64 logos or branding
• Refers to AIDA64 only in a functional manner (e.g., “ensure AIDA64 shared memory is enabled”)

What does it do?

• Presents CPU, GPU, memory, and system metrics using text, gauges, bars, tables, and charts
• Supports static and animated visual elements (for subtle motion, indicators, and themed panels)
• Allows pixel-precise layout control for compact or high-density panels
• Supports profile-based configurations for different layouts and resolutions
• Includes a small set of built-in Extra add-ons for runtime and system context

All telemetry is read via AIDA64 Shared Memory - a compatible AIDA64 installation is required/must. 

Design Philosophy

SynQPanel is designed to be:

• Minimal - Its simple and helps to what you choose to display
• Precise - exact positioning and controlled visuals
• Intentional - visuals serve information, not the other way around

The goal is to give users the tools to design their own panels, whether simple or highly detailed.

Project Origin & Status

SynQPanel is derived from an open-source codebase originally authored by Habib Rehman, and has since been independently developed, refactored, and extended under the GNU GPL.

Current status:

• Beta
• Core functionality is stable
• UI, add-ons, and internal APIs may continue to evolve

We are Finalizing the Code, updating Free Licensing, Attributions, cutting things to make it as light as possible

What do you think about these new features? We felt the Core template would be helpful for newcomers, and the resizing feature marks an important step toward supporting different scales, DPI settings, and making it easier to design or redesign panels.

Hope theres some desginers that like to build sensorpanel's, can you build this one ? 

I'm new to Aida64 as a sensor panel and have recently installed a 1024x600 USB panel inside my (glass) case and was wondering if anyone had made a panel with a nixie tube/ steampunk type look to it; I've done a search on this forum and nothing popped up, so if anyone has made one please point me in the right direction...

At some point I'll try and make one myself, but at 67 YO I'm not exactly skilled at such things LOL

Resolution is 2560x720, but it would be great to see some in portrait mode also (i.e. 720x2560).

I would like to introduce y'all:

AIDA64 SensorPanel Watcher

AIDA64 SensorPanel Watcher is a light script in refinement phase (but actually working) that checks if the AIDA .ini configuration file has changed and automatically readjust the position and size of the SensorPanel if they have changed as well.

Note: The full script has been shared, but the Position and Size of the SensorPanel have to be changed according to users' preference.

I am experiencing a recurring issue with AIDA64 SensorPanel concerning temperature source assignment, and I would like to know whether this is a known bug, a sensor mapping problem, or a SensorPanel item persistence issue.

System / hardware configuration

My system is currently configured as follows:

• Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z790-A Gaming WiFi D4

• CPU: Intel Core i7-14700K

• RAM: 32 GB DDR4-3600

• GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 9070 XT Pulse

• Cooling: TRYX Panorama 360 SE AIO

• Main display: Samsung Odyssey G55C QHD 165 Hz

• Secondary display: Z-Edge 1080p 240 Hz

• Additional monitoring display: HDMI display used for monitoring / SensorPanel

I use AIDA64 SensorPanel on a custom monitoring screen to display hardware values in real time.

Problem description

My goal is to display the GPU Hot Spot temperature from my AMD graphics card.

However, when I assign a SensorPanel item to the GPU Hot Spot temperature, the assignment does not remain valid.

After some time, or after reopening / reloading AIDA64, the same item seems to switch back automatically to a CPU-related sensor, specifically CPU GT Cores, instead of staying linked to the GPU Hot Spot sensor.

So in practice:

• I select the correct GPU Hot Spot sensor

• the displayed value may appear correct temporarily

• but later the item is no longer linked to the correct GPU sensor

• instead, it points to CPU GT Cores (or another CPU / iGPU-related temperature entry)

What makes this confusing

This does not look like a simple wrong temperature reading.

The issue is that the SensorPanel item itself does not seem to keep the correct sensor association.
It looks as if the sensor source is being remapped or replaced internally.

What I already noticed

• the issue concerns SensorPanel assignment persistence

• it specifically affects the value I want to use for GPU Hot Spot

• the incorrect fallback sensor is related to CPU GT Cores

• this makes the displayed value unreliable for panel monitoring

What I would like to know

1. Is this a known issue in AIDA64 SensorPanel?

2. Can SensorPanel items become linked to the wrong sensor after restart, refresh, or hardware polling reordering?

3. Is there a recommended way to bind a SensorPanel item more reliably to the intended GPU sensor?

4. Could this be caused by ambiguous sensor naming, changing sensor indexes, or an AIDA64 bug?

Additional detail

I am not asking here about a general temperature discrepancy with another monitoring software.
My main issue is really the loss of the correct sensor binding inside SensorPanel, where GPU Hot Spot ends up being replaced by CPU GT Cores.

If needed, I can also provide:

• screenshots of the SensorPanel item settings

• screenshots of the incorrect displayed value

• full hardware details

• AIDA64 report / preferences export

Any help would be appreciated, because this prevents me from trusting the displayed GPU Hot Spot value in my panel.

My setup includes three monitors, one of which is a small USB-connected display (1920×480) mounted inside the PC case and dedicated to the Sensor Panel.

However, after every reboot or wake-up from sleep/hibernation, the Sensor Panel window automatically moves to another screen, even though I have:

• Locked the Sensor Panel position

• Set it to display only on the small USB screen

This issue repeats every time the system restarts or resumes from sleep.
Please let me know if there’s a known workaround or if a fix is planned for future updates.
