I’ve been using the Image Resize function for my images and gauges, along with the upscale and downscale options. These features have been very helpful, especially when resizing from 2560×720 to 1920×515, though I still need to make some minor adjustments afterward. 👍

Would it be possible to add an option to manually input the scale percentage based on either width or height? For example, downsizing the height from 720 to 515 works out to about 71.5%, with the width resizing automatically to match. Having the ability to enter percentages directly, ideally with decimal support, but even whole numbers like 71% would be fine. It would make resizing much easier and more precise. I believe this feature may have been mentioned before on the forum, but I’d like to bring it up again.

This would also be useful in cases such as downscaling from 1920×515 to 1920×480, where resizing by height first and then adjusting element spacing according to the panel’s width provides a smoother adjustment.

I understand if this feature can’t be added at present or if it’s not practical to implement at the moment.

A couple of limitations and important things to know about this first SensorPanel beta:

1) Most of the settings are moved out of the usual place (the central AIDA64 Preferences), so you can control most properties of the SensorPanel items straight from the SensorPanel itself. Just use the right-click context menu to modify, remove or move an item, or to close the SensorPanel. We'll add more options into the right-click menu soon.

2) You can only put BMP and PNG format images on the SensorPanel right now. We'll add JPEG support later on. In case you want to add a full background image to the SensorPanel, make sure to use BMP format, since it is the most efficient way to handle large images.

3) Currently there's only one bar style, a solid (classic) one. In case you've seen a bar design that you think would look cool in AIDA64, make sure to post a screen shot here in this topic. We'd like to extend the range of bar styles to allow fancier SensorPanel design, and also to make it easier to tell various sensor item bars apart from each other.

4) We'll implement sensor graphs in the near future too, probably before the summer. In case you have an idea about a visual sensor item representation that is not a simple label, not a bar, and not a graph, then post your idea in this topic, and we'll discuss it.

5) Currently there's no way to re-order the items to allow better overlaying and to allow placing an image behind a sensor item easier. Currently you need to add the images first, and then the sensor items, to make sure the sensor items are shown in front of the image(s). We'll add a "SensorPanel Manager" feature soon, to let you have a quick overview on all the items placed on the panel, and to re-order the items. BTW, it's possible to re-order items right now, if you close AIDA64, and edit AIDA64.INI file in a text editor. Not a very user-friendly way, but please keep in mind that this whole SensorPanel feature is only in the first beta stage right now

6) We have a lot of plans to make it easier to handle the panel items, and to generally make the SensorPanel user-friendly. For example:

- Lock the size of the panel, so the user cannot accidently resize it.

- Lock the position of the panel, so the user cannot accidently move it.

- Temporarily hide one or more items on the panel, and also to unhide them.

- Flashing the sensor item when the sensor value reaches the "Limit3" point.

7) Even though AIDA64 doesn't warn you about this, but it's important to understand that when you enable a bar, and you select its Place as "Embedded", then you need to set the bar's Indent property to a non-zero value to let the label text fit there. If you leave the "Indent" at zero, the label will be hidden under the bar.

8) FYI, even though the SensorPanel feature was developed as a replacement for both the OSD Panel and Sidebar Gadget feature, it will not effectively replace them. So if you prefer the easier layout of the old features, you can still use them. You can even use them together, if you want.

In one machine the SSD operates at max at 7.4 GB/s while in the other 3.6 GB/s

This is because the 5700G only supports PCIe 3.0 for the top NVMe slot while the 5800X3D supports PCIe 4.0.

Now i was looking whether Aida64 could tell me the actually negotiated interface speed. But everywhere i checked it showed the speed it is capable of.

The NVMe device properties say nothing about the interface speed.

The SSD Physical info does but it only says what the SSD is capable off.

I could not find any other mention of interface speed.

Maybe an idea for a feature request to also show the negotiated interface speed 

If I use 100% scaling and reload Aida64, everything shows correctly. Trouble is, everything is too tiny to see so I cannot use it at 100% scaling.

Log scale VU would be -20 -10 -7 -5 -3 -1 +0 +1 +2 +3 db

As i listen to a lot of music this feature would be very welcomed.

(nowadays, many displays have almost 100% DCI-P3 coverage)

I'm currently running the Aida64 Extreme and using the SensorPanel option which I love!  On question I have and not sure if this is already on aida64 and an option for the SensorPanel and I'm missing it or if its something that may have a potential to be added but is there an option to turn on and see Average Effective Clocks and Per-Core Effective Clocks?  I'm noticing that the reported core clock values do not always reflect actual core activity.  Some preferred cores remain at elevated reported frequencies even when the processor is largely at idle.  This does not mean that its not useful, I do like that the standard core clock values show the boost state, but they don't always reflect true workload.

I like to display some Flightsim Panels on those typical Aida64 Monitors. Some Latency is acceptet.

A logarithmic option would amplify the low-level activity while keeping the highest levels from clipping.

All of my graphs suffer from this problem.

Why do I want that? I'm using a USB monitor as SensorPanel as part of my case and the monitor boots roughly 20-30s after the Windows LogIn, therefore moving the SensorPanel to the main Monitor as the designated monitor ain't active yet.



Also, for the love of god, make it possible to use .gifs for images used in the SensorPanel...

How about the ability to run more than one instance of AIDA64?  I have tried all the tricks available in Windows 10 and known to me, inclusive of creating additional user accounts and trying to spin up separate instances of AIDA64 residing in their own, unique folders via Windows' "run as a different user" facility, but came up short.  It seems that AIDA64 insists on having only one instance running, no matter what I try.

Is there a trick that I am not aware of to make something like this happen?  I would love to have two sensor panels (one dedicated to general monitoring, and another one of significance to overclocking activities) with the ability to display them on different local monitors, and with the ability to turn them on-and-off at will.  I.E.: off-off, on-off, off-on and on-on for panels 1 and 2.

I think I could accomplish something similar by using virtual machine(s), but would prefer to avoid VMs for the sake of simplicity.

Is this possible?

I have been using AIDA 64 for a while mainly to keep an eye on temps, fan speeds and power consumption using the sensor panel. I have my computer power supply unit connected to an APC Smart UPS SUA-1500I and my monitors and HDTV, router and other stuff connected to an APC Back-UPS RS1500. Going to the power management section in AIDA64, I can see the wattages, voltages and other parameters of both UPS units, but I cannot add the wattage of the Back-UPS unit to the sensor panel. I can do so only with the smart UPS unit. Is there a way to add them both to the sensor panel and keep an eye on the total power consumption of my whole setup?

Would it possible to have a list like Task Manager does where the processes / applications that are using the CPU or network would come up. EDIT: On the LCD I mean. 

I ask for this as I find myself noting via AIDA64 on my LCD that the CPU might be at 20% and then I wonder what might be causing it so I open task manager to find out. It would be ideal if I could have a list like that on a different page on the LCD via AIDA64 so I could quickly check what was causing the spike. A similar idea for the network would be great like what's found in the "Processes with Network Activity" tab of the Resource Monitor.

You can see in my screenshot how i have got it setup in a similar fashion, but I had to do so by using a specific number spaces after the item title and also using a monospaced font like Courier New (all characters have same width). However as you can see in my other screenshot, this method I use has its flaws.. for items that have values which can have multiple orders of magnitude (i.e. 1, 10, 100), the will push or pull the alignment. When Ram Used is only 5000MB, this is expressed using 4 digits. But, when the system is using 12000MB, it must use 5 digits to denote this (obviously). This is true for any item whose value can change by 1 or more orders of magnitude, as demonstrated in my example. So, while my little spacing trick is nice, it would be great if something could be written in the code that will allow for justifying the titles independently of the values, and perhaps even a variable for minimum spacing between them.
