  1. Check this topic too, also I've posted a sample sensor panel there

I just updated to version 2.5 and even after looking through the changelogs, knowledge bases, and even this forum, I cannot seem to see the new/cool SensorPanel graphs and gauges.

When I turn on the SensorPanel, I just see the old low-res blue-background SensorPanel...I could not even find any new gauges or anything when trying to add new items to the panel.

What am I doing wrong? (I apologize if this is something obvious I missed.. )

    Thanks much in advance!

    MikeY

  2. Ok I've sorted out the problem finally, it should work now, I've tested it again several times.

Edit: It appears you opened the window for upload limitations, so I attached the file.

But when I click the attachment link to download the file, I get an error.

  3. We've created this topic to have a place where you can share your Sensor Panel themes. If you designed a stunning SensorPanel layout and you want to show it to others or you just want to find some examples or download a good looking panel then you are in the right place.

Please attach at least one screen shot with your ".sensorpanel" file, so others can see how the attached panel looks like.

  4. You should extract AIDA64 Business Edition ZIP file to a shared folder on your server, then you can setup each client to launch AIDA64 from this location. You don't need to install AIDA64 on each client computer, AIDA64 doesn't require installation.

ok, I have 10 desktops. I have to install AIDA64 on all desktops will make doing the audit? help me what should I schedule the command line on the desktop? example uses the file server named SERVER

  5. Right-click on the panel, and launch SensorPanel Manager. With the Move Up / Move Down buttons you can change the order of the items. First item in the list is on the lowest depth on the panel.

Is there a way to set forward and backwards on images? I added my own CPU image and the background one went away, just a black background. I just replace the image and kept the item in the selection menu. Then three start ups later the order was correct again and both images displayed correctly.

  6. We are sorry, but it seems our current product line and licensing options are not covering such usage of AIDA64.

Any further advice? If not then we will consider solutions from other vendors.

In reality i agree with what u said, We need the Engineer version as it has unlimited computer usage, but to actually achieve what we want to do we need the command line option.

I don't want to install anything on the local PC's. I want the Aida Sotware on a network server. I then want to run a batch file on the local PC that will run the Aida software from the server that creates an HTML hardware report and then writes this back to our server.

So if you can imagine, we have new PC's that have just been built, they will have Windows preloaded on to them. Aida will then make a report of the hardware and store that information on one of our servers and that PC will then go off to be boxed up for shipping to customer. The reason for having the command line option is to stream line this process. That way the process can be automated and each PC can be processed in under 30 seconds before moving on to the next one. So AIDA only gets used on each PC for about 30 seconds its just that its one machine after another creating a report and writing it to our server.

These reports are then stored for future quality issues should customer raises an issue with the build or if we need to check in to something.

Years ago we did use Aida32 for this very same process with great success.

  7. Thank you for letting us now the problem about the ticket, we'll check our support system to find out what happened with your e-mail.

About the question with AIDA64. For such usage we recommend Extreme Engineer license as it does exactly what you need, a quick solution to get a report of a computer without installing or configuring the network. Engineer license also supports this kind of usage as this product is bound to an engineer and can be used on an unlimited number of computers.

However I'm not sure what kind of post process you want to do with these snapshots as Engineer version only able to produce TXT or HTML based reports. This version also cannot be launched with command line parameters.

  8. We are working on an automated way to handle renewals and license extensions, it will be published on our website soon. Until that about renewals please send an e-mail to sales AT aida64.com

I am interested in the renewal process as well. I did not open a ticket. Will there be somewhere that discusses that and pricing on the site? Thanks.

  9. Please send an e-mail to sales AT aida64.com with your actual product key in order to get this sorted out asap.

I was upgraded from Everest to AIDA 64 Engineer's Edition and I have sent the following message to upgrade AT finalwire.com, from where I received the upgrade notice last year. Unfortunately the email address now appears to be invalid:

[*]This now seems to have expired. I am a bit peeved, because this morning I required some information about a client's workstation that AIDA64 could (probably) have given me, instead, however, it displays a message that my licence has expired - and goes no further. This seems to be at odds with this statement:

    [*]

[*] "However, the last version of the product will remain fully functional after the maintenance period is expired."

    [*]

    [*]in your terms and conditions.

    [*]

[*]Please advise how I might best continue my support of this product at the most reasonable terms.

    [*]

    [*]Thanks

  10. Services running in a different "layer" in Windows Vista and Windows 7 and currently AIDA64 cannot access the user's desktop when forced to run as a service. This problem will be solved in a future version.

I've setup Aida as a service on Windows 7

Perhaps there's a better way to do it, or i'm just plain doing it wrong...

the service is fine, but I can't remote control, or do screen shots i just get a white screen when I do. Also trying to run a task it pops up with a box stating that the program is not compatible with windows 7 interactive service detection

Now i've also noted that if you run Aida as another user you can connect but not view the desktop as well, you have to be that user, i've tried this by running it at start up as a service, startup program, scheduled task.

is there any work around for this or something Aida can address in a future release?

Monitoring seems to work, just not remotely viewing or interacting with the PC, perhaps this should be moved to the bug list maybe. thought i'd bring it up here first tho to see if anyone had found a way to resolve it for now.

  11. Thanks I've found your ticket using the ID and just replied to you in e-mail. The spam filter you using replied to our automated system and this caused the confusion about this ticket.

  12. In such cases just drop an e-mail to the company directly (in this case to us) instead of the e-commerce provider, because we have direct contacts to them so we can check what and why happened and can act after the first failed transaction immediately and provide a solution.
