Hello, nothing worked out, I did everything as you said, but to no avail, it still doesn't work, everything just freezes :-/

Please go to the Computer / DMI page in AIDA64, click on Motherboard, and make a screenshot of the page and post it here.  Then on the same DMI page click on System,  and make a screenshot of the page and post it here.

Recently AIDA64 has refused to run linear write tests for reasons that I have no clue of - it simply just says "cannot open drive" to every SSD I installed on the system (they're empty drives). The same benchmarking rig used to work just fine previously, and attempting this on a clean Windows 11 install plus stock BIOS settings didn't get it to run either ever since.

    Here's specs:

    Intel Core i9-13900K
    ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 HERO
NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition
    Kingston Renegade RGB DDR5-6400
Boot drive: Samsung 980 PRO 256GB
    Tested drive: (in this screenshot)
    OS: Windows 11 Home 22H2

Maybe there's a security layer that prevents direct access to disk drives.  Either Windows Defender or some other security software that you've got installed.  Or virtualization is enabled.

    Hello AIDA64 community,

Would like some assistance please. So, I have just purchased AIDA64 extreme with its latest version. I created my own sensor panel and would always turn this sensor panel on automatically whenever my PC is switched on.

All of the PC's hardware are already updated in terms of their drivers and chipsets. This include the GPU and the motherboard. Windows 11 is updated. Here are the specs :

Motherboard : AMD ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero

    CPU : AMD Ryzen R9 5900

GPU : AMD ASUS ROG RX6900 XT

    RAM : 32 GB

    OS : Windows 11

So, after around 1 hour of PC gaming or browsing, my PC would freeze. Display does not update and the only way I could get out from this situation is by hard resetting the PC. Then, after the PC restarted, I observed the sensor panel and noticed the GPU parameters are blanked out. I am also unable to view the GPU driver, AMD Adrenalin, anymore. So, I would need to uninstall and reinstall the AMD Adrenalin. This process is repeated each time the same situation happened.

Then, I set the Stability settings of AIDA64 to deactivate GPU sensors. The stability has improved, but it still froze at a later time. Realizing that there was an improvement, I decided to completely uninstall AIDA64. Ever since the program is uninstalled, there has not been a single PC freezing or crashing anymore.

I find this so weird. Does anyone else here share the same experience? How did you overcome this issue? I still need AIDA64 because the sub is already in effect.

    Please do advise. Thank you.

Can you please check the memory consumption of AIDA64.EXE process when you first start it, and after around 15 minutes and then around 30 minutes of gaming?  I'm wondering if this is due to a memory leak caused by improper communication between the AMD video driver hardware monitoring layer and AIDA64.

    Hello guys,

I have been sending technical support requests to Finalwire. This includes the AIDA64 product key when I purchased it from the website. There has not been a single email reply from Finalwire. Checked my Junk mail, but there are still no emails from them.

    Please do advise. Thank you.

I've pinged our support dept about this issue.  Please let me know here in this topic what the issue is about and I will try to resolve it for you. Do NOT publish your product key here.

    Hi,

I just installed Aida 64 7.00 and because I am new user, I has to read the documentation, which comes with this product. For me is UI bit confusing, so I looked to help file for some advices, but there is shown completely different user interface. I dont know what is wrong here. I did some mistake during installation so I get different user interface?

I also read version 7 comes with new user interface (i never used versions before 7.00), but I doubt you not change documenation file (aida64.chm).

    Thank you for explanation.

Quite frankly it consumed a lot of development and QC resources on our part to finalize the new UI before the previously set launch date of 04-Dec, and we simply had no time left to update the user's manuals.  We will do that soon :)

    Hi Fiery,

so i tested the new final v7.00.6700 today and there is still some issues/missing sensors:

    - Technically Chassis #1 is labeled wrong and should be CPU #2 and CPU should be labeled CPU #1 instead, because the board according to the manual and labels on the board itself has 2x CPU-Fan-Headers and only 1 Chassis-Header so Chassis #2 would have to be labeled Chassis only. This is just cosmetics though, the reported values are unfortunately also incorrect! As it stands now: CPU reports values from Chassis #1 and reversed. Chassis #2 reports correct value

    - When using the sensor panel there are still no sensors for all the core temperatures available, only for the CPU itself. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D reports the core temperatures from Core0 (CCD1) to Core7 (CCD1), 8 cores overall, and has also a sensor for the L3 Cache (CCD1). Also missing: CPU IOD Hotspot & CPU IOD Average temperature sensors, as reported in HWiNFO64 v7.66

    - RAM-Temperature-Sensors are not found at all, as you can see on the attached screenshot. No big deal, just mentioning it

Looking forward to the next beta for the fixes (hopefully) ;)

Thank you for your feedback!  We'll fix the first issue in the next AIDA64 beta update, and will work on the rest too.

Hi developer, the icons bar without labels is really inconvenient, so please add label for every icon, thanks!

We haven't added labels because it would greatly reduce the number of icons that would fit on the toolbar.  We are now collecting ideas on how to step forward and enhance the new UI, and we're open to discussing various concepts and wishes about the new toolbar.

BTW, if you move the mouse cursor above an icon and let it hover, a hint bubble is displayed with the icon caption.

I am doing the research and prep work to start a small YouTube channel.  What version of AIDA64 would I need to purchase to make videos? As of right now, I have not yet started the channel and have no revenue, and do not know if the channel will get monetized.

Is the extreme version ok for now?  If so, what revenue threshold would require me to switch to engineer/business?

I've sent you an email about this.

Will there be AIDA64 support for the display on the Asus ROG AZOTH keyboard in the (not too distant) future?

It is a brilliant keyboard and display and it already has some built-in support for system information. I would just prefer to fully customize it like I did previously on my Logitech G19 and APEX PRO keyboards.

We've asked Asus about it.  I will let you know what they have to say about this.

    Hi,

Recently built a new Ryzen machine and purchased a new AIDA64 license for it however did not realize that the motherboard CD USB key came with an OEM AIDA64 license.

So wonder if I can transfer the license onto one of my other machines and second wonder if the OEM licenses are fully featured?

    Thank you

Yes, you can transfer license by moving the file called PKEY.TXT from the old AIDA64 installation folder to the new one.

And yes, the OEM licenses are fully featured based on AIDA64 Extreme.

    Possible user here...

Is it possible to use AIDA64 to monitor multiple PCs (windows/linux) from a single device and display through a single screen...

for instance, I have multiple windows 10 PCs, multiple linux PCs, Multiple Raspberry PIs, etc... all this is housed in a server rack and I would like to be able to monitor all PCs from a single computer set aside for this software.

    Thanks in Advance

Monitoring multiple remote computers is possible with AIDA64 Business, although the aspects that it can monitor remotely aren't the same as you'd typically monitor locally.  So thermal state and fan speeds aren't part of what AIDA64 Business can monitor remotely.  What it can do is monitor system memory load, CPU load, running processes, etc.

If you're looking for a solution to monitor thermal state, fan speeds, voltage rails of multiple computers remotely, then I'm afraid AIDA64 isn't suitable for performing that task for you.

hi, my cpu i5 4670k. os- windows 10

I'm using aida64 extreme 2023 for system stability test. is this version of aida64 supported by my cpu which is so old? Can  this version of aida64 tress testing cause any issue to my system as maybe tress testing would run some latest instructions which not supported by my cpu?  if so can someone please suggest a suitable version of aida64 or suitable settings in latest aida64 for tress testing my cpu?
Also in system stability test there are many check boxes like - cpu, cache,  fpu etc, now which ones should i select during tress testing of my cpu?

    AIDA64 fully supports your CPU.

In the System Stability Test you can select CPU+FPU+Cache+Memory together to try to find processing issues and data integrity issues.  And you can select only the FPU subtest alone to check how your system performs under maximum thermal stress.

    Hi Fiery,

I just build a new rig with the following motherboard: Klick
    Name: B650I Lightning WiFi
    Bios-Version: v1.28
    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
    RAM: 2x G.Skill F5-6000J3040G32G (SKU F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5K) /w Temp-Sensors
    OS: Windows 10 Pro German 22H2 (19045.3693)

As you can see on the attached screenshot, those are all the sensors that are available. Here is a list of some important sensors that are missing, which are available in HWiNFO64 v7.66:

    - RAM-Temperatures
    - all CPU temperature sensors except CPU Diode
    - all PWM/motherboard fan sensors incl. fan speeds (CPU1, CPU2, Chassis1)
    - some motherboard specific temperature sensors like T15, T16
    - total CPU Utility
    - something i may have missed

If there is anything i can provide you with so in the next beta/final update there will be support for this board, please let me know.

    Kind regards

    Cleanhead

Thank you, the issue will be fixed in the next AIDA64 beta update.

Hiya everyone I have issues with the CPU and GPU Utilisation it's not right especially when I look on task manager performance can any help me how to fix this problem I can give u my specs of my pc I do have windows 11 as well   please get back to me so I can solve this issue

You may want to enable Windows 11 CPU utilization measurement workaround in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability.  But, please also understand that Windows computes both CPU and GPU utilization using a different formula than AIDA64.  So the values measured by Task Manager cannot be compared to AIDA64 values.

I am using Asus Rog Crosshair X670E Hero and I have connected a Alphacool Eisfluegel Aurora Flow Indicator "HighFlow" with RPM-Signal using the 3pin cable directly to the motherboard header.

    Please advise.

Try to enable both the following options on the page AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability:

    Embedded Controller (EC) support
    Embedded Controller (EC) bank switching

Hello there. Recently I bought a new laptop with I7-12650H on board. Everything seems fine, but aida reports that processor is always thriottling (right after reboot), is it normal or sensors gone crazy? idle temps holds on 40 degrees

Throttling can be experienced for most laptops these days.  But, the amount of throttling also matters: in your case it's negligible, so don't worry about it.
