Corsair decided to discontinue supporting the industry standard synchronization mutexes in the recent updates of their Corsair Link Software.  So it may no longer work together with 3rd party monitoring software like AIDA64 :(

Fiery, is there any update to being able to run AIDA64 with Corsair Link?

You need to enable both Embedded Controller (EC) support and Embedded Controller (EC) bank switching in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability.  That will unlock a few additional sensor readings on your motherboard.  Make sure to not have Asus AI Suite or any of its background services installed on your system.  If you have any of those left around, a collision may occur while AIDA64 tries to perform EC bank switching, and it may just cause a system lockup or sudden system restart.

What about CorsairLink software?  Will I have issues running Aida64 along with it?

  3. According to our tests, Samsung NVMe SSDs work at quite high temperatures, especially under heavy load. We can rarely see anything under 40 Celsius when they are working, so I'd say 60 Celsius is definitely more realistic than 14C :) And yes, if you touch them, they don't feel anything cool, so it's not a temperature measurement issue.

You are right, I added another fan in my case that blows right on the 950 SSD and the temp went down to 41c.  Thanks for your help and quick response. I love AIDA64.

  4. Another bug i have found with Aida is the startup perferences are not sticking. Example: I have set Aida to run on system boot (Perferences>General>Load Aida64 at windows startup) but if i uncheck this option aida64 is still starting up on system boot. Seems like alot of the perferences are not sticking. Anyone else noticing this?

I have a similar issue. I can not get Aida to start with windows even though it is set to in preferences. I have had this happen with Everest also, and have tracked down what the cause is but I am unable to fix it. This happens when Aida / Everest is installed on another user account. Startup settings only work on the user account that it was installed on originally. Uninstalling and reinstalling on the new account does not fix the issue.
