    May be.

But I want to know from where he get the plastic-case for the display.

I cut a plastic picture frame (it's more an experiment) and it works, but it looks not 'professional' enough.

    Hi!
    in fact,
This screen originally comes with an original metal casing, like this:

I bought this screen(Screen + metal shell) from Taobao:

    https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z09.2.0.0.4f972e8dsnWXmG&id=615817512455&_u=tcvbl94992

Wow very clean! Thank you for this. Do you mind pointing me to where you got the controller board? I assume it's an HDMI to MIPI converter?

For anyone interested, I believe the panel is a 8.8" HannStar IPS  (HSD088IPW1-A00).

'panel is a 8.8" HannStar IPS (HSD088IPW1-A00)' is correct!
I can easily buy screens and matching controller board on Taobao in China, and they are sold together in combination.
    For example, this link:
    https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.29.18d819231stGIR&id=616716489051&ns=1&abbucket=9#detail
(I cannot guarantee that this link can be accessed outside of China)
I don't know how to buy this controller board separately, there is no model name on it.

Awesome! What screen are you using to display? Seems like it would fit my case a lot better than my 5" screen!

I use an 8.8-inch screen with a resolution of 1920*480, which is very suitable for this job.
