hiya I no what you are saying have you saw the panel I did as for my fans I just have 2 up one is for the fan speed So  it is GPU1 & I Name it RPM and the second one is the cooling which is GPU1 BUT how do i no what one is for the CPU &  they are on 0 at the mo because my Graphic Card is not on any stress?

    1 Cooling.jpg

    2 RPM.png

    To clarify:

Both GPU1 in the pic above are the same fans for your GPU.

Now, why they are listed separately?

Under Cooling Fans category: GPU1 fan shows the value in RPM it can range from 0 to anything RPM ( where anything = 3000, 4500, 9000 RPM etc. as per your GPU specifications)

Under Fan Speeds: GPU1 fan shows the value in % so it can only range between 0 - 100%

One more thing: GPU fan can be at 0 RPM it does not matter as GPU fan works as per the stress. CPU Fan can not be or SHOULD not be at 0 RPM at any case.

  3. As we all know whenever Windows Scaling is used, the Sensor Panel breaks and it gets scattered. People have used Compatibility - DPI solution; however, that is not the 100% solution as it sometimes does not work at all.

I was surfing the internet and came across some settings which might be helpful or interesting for the developers.

I do not know if is it allowed to share links for any other software. That's why, I am not including the links; however, adding some screenshots that might be useful (I have removed the other software's name):

    SOFTWARE SETTINGS:

    REGISTRY ENTERIES:

    image.jpeg.c061b16cf5f5ccb15e1eb9c3e71ad879.jpeg

AIDA Developers may add this setting or options in the UI {if possible) so that one can easily use them to avoid any issues with the sensor panel scattering due to Windows scaling issues!

It is just a request as I felt like sharing it here just "Food For Thought"!

This update, if can be included would be a REVOLUTIONARY BOOM for everyone.

PS: If allowed, I will share the other third party software links (KB/Tutorial) which talk about these DPI settings in details :)

    Thank you!

Oh, it is tedious - very tedious! Most people just use the 16 images per gauge so the image changes every 6 degrees for temperature (100/16)

Some people like Surjeet, the other user that replied, always use 100 image multiple gauges for 1 degree accuracy and they can be incredibly beautiful!

Thank you @rinaldop for your kind and encouraging words, I really appreciate it!

Yes, creating 100 States images could be VERY tedious, it does take patience & time investment to create them. However, once you start crafting them, you would start loving them more and more everyday.

@ldwilliams.uk: People mainly use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Paint or GIMP (open source and very impactful) to handle these Custom Gauges creation!

I second that, doing a 100 image, or how about a 240 image, that is a lot of clicking. 15 is bad enough then you get in RSLCD with it's limited effects an arc, bar and a line graph is it no image.png.d9035c210f5fe884317b7d93c43864c4.pngcustom dials and stuff.  That BMW panel you did was great some good ideas there.

This my work in progress 1600X1200 RSLCD.  the dial faces I got from someone on here, forgot who but thanks.  I know it is kinda large but I am new to this file transfer stuff lucky I got it on here

    1600X1200.rslcd 6.81 MB · 0 downloads

    Its looking really great @Loyd

Every creator is unique and should be respected plus appreciated. Having said that, I can see nice usage of the gauges and the alignment. The only thing which I would have done:

    - Make CPU GPU Temperature bigger and keep it in the centre

    - Move any text inside the gauge to the bottom of the dial outside to give dial some cleaner view

    - You may also use Temperature and Utilization Numbers combination inside dial with Degree and Percentage Sign

Again this is just my observations otherwise every design created speaks and well worth of the usage. Colours, size, font etc all are personal preferences and nothing is right or wrong in that :)

I can see why people want all panels to be free. I have bought several panels even though I am skilled enough to make panels myself. The work put into the panels I bought, often with many 100 image accurate gauges, is amazing and takes many hours. In my opinion well worth the small fee of $10-$15 US that I paid.

Thank you @rinaldop for supporting ❤️ people using 100 gauges and the charge they deserve to get for hours of hard work to show that precision with perfect accuracy.

Creating 100 gauges is one thing, the way they should be incorporated in the desired design is the other thing.

Its not that the people who charge are greedy or bad people, we are also from the same community and always here to assist anyone with any sort of questions. Its only a small chunk of people who do not like us, but the love and appreciation we receive from our work always out shadow the hard feeling we faced from some :) 😇

BTW, your BMW panel is a great hit and shown amazing results :) Bravo my friend and you are also champ in handling great panels and design all together :)

I agree we have 2 separate threads and people should not talk about monetary things or advertisement in Share Your Sensor Panel Thread.

It should be a clean thread. As per the rules, No promotion, no screenshot if you are not willing to distribute the panel free, with every screenshot, it should have the SIZE, FONT mentioned and the panel mentioned are included

Correction to above line part: And if possible, please include the panel too for free distribution!

Due to some people not following the rules, we should not blame the complete thread or people involved sharing in that thread to look bad. Every person in that thread is respectful, mature and sensible to follow the rules!

    https://forums.aida64.com/topic/13296-share-your-sensorpanels/?do=findComment&comment=58396

I respect people like @rinaldop who stated and acknowledged that advertisement will not be done and rules will be respected. He leads by an example here and stated he will stop it right away! if we have everyone like him, the issue raised would be resolved itself!

$Promote Your SensorPanels$ is the forum only for people who are interested in purchasing something unique and every person is free to decide to go to that forum or not!

Just an Idea if it is doable: I think, every comment should have "Report" count mentioned and anyone can see how many times a particular message was reported using three dots above the message. Their should be a threshold that if any comment receive say N reported count, that message should be deleted by its own. Sounds too technical to be implemented :(

In the end, I just want to repeat one thing: Due to some people not following the rules and not reading others comments, they are making the bad reputation for the COMPLETE THREAD!

  11. Hi @ldwilliams.uk,

Colour of the font can not be set; however, bar can be used below, side, up of the font to change colours!

If you are not interested in 100 gauges Custom Gauge, you may simply use the Sensor item and can create a Thin bar to change its colour as per the range given.

You may set the Min Max and Limit 1 to 3 and set required colours for these ranges too.

When you Show bar you may control Width Height etc. Please find below the screenshot:

    image.thumb.jpeg.4903678cd5112d235f090ad1096c157e.jpeg

I think you may have tried it!

To answer your question, We are limited to 16 images per Sensor; however, can use them multiple times to use the images from 0-100.

That's the perfect measurement; however, that takes lot of time to create such gauges. Personally, I love using 100 gauges meter for their precision and perfect accuracy!

@COSTAJUNIOR  Thank you for your feedback!

For numbering scheme make sure to remove the space after the dash character and also use 2-digit numbers (ie. use a leading zero when the number is below ten).  So instead of "Double- 8.png", use "Double-08.png".

You NAILED it man! I knew I was missing something and you caught it PERFECT!

I also confirm that everything is working FLAWLESSLY as expected.

    Thank you @Fiery.

Thank you everyone for getting this update added!

  17. @Fiery This is really a GAME CHANGER. I also confirm that this works flawlessly and this WORKS PERFECT!

For me, it worked for all the state except the numbers from 0-15. I am doing something wrong as they were not aligned correctly for me. I tried normal numbers, _NN and -NN :(

@COSTAJUNIOR, please let me know what naming convention or style did you use to make it work.

Mine screenshot is as follows where I know I am missing something to make it work:

    image.png.18e1333aa11e7be18936a2f0cafbba9a.png

You need to select PSU in the SensorPanel Manager and after selecting it, use the Right Arrow as highlighted above and the numbers would start moving to Right. Move as desired.

I just download AIDA64 v7 but the layout is different but it is all working good here is my sensor panel that Rinaldop made for  me  so happy it is now all working,

Wow, I am so happy for you that it worked!

Yeah, that is a bit difficult to implement in such a flexible way since the user may or may not select exactly 16 images :)  We'll use the more advanced solution of sorting image filenames in alphabetical order without applying any restrictions about filename endings when it's exactly 16 files selected.  That can still bring pitfalls, but no solution can take every issues into account.

Hi @Fiery, hope you are doing well.

I just wanted to check with you if the above update would be included in the next AIDA64 beta update due next week :)

I was just curious, so excited and that's why unable to resist me to ask this question!

Supposedly the bug has been fixed in the latest Beta, but the bug is still there for me in version v7.00.6742 Beta.

Will you try it and see if it works for you?

Sorry for the delayed response as I was away.

I tried the beta with fresh panel (wherein path was not corrupted) and I was unable to reproduce the issue again.

Its intermittent and it happened to me last time when I saw your message and it was a coincidence. I updated that screenshot here earlier too as that error did come.

I would update it again if it happens again while I am trying to reproduce the issue. You also keep on trying and report if you face it again!
