  1. Hello, I'm trying out and evaluating AIDA64, looks like an excellent all-rounder! My hardware is an old laptop ASUS U32U. However I noticed that CPU FAN rpm value is using the "wrong" source. AIDA64 uses the reading from _TZ_.RFAN(0) = 31, which shows up as 3100rpm. Whilst the correct value should be read from _SB_.PCI0.SBRG.EC0_.TACH(0) whose current value is 4294967295, which is 0, the correct value. Using SpeedFAN and HWinfo, I can see the "correct" value. I understand that there might be a bug in my motherboard's EC or ACPI table, cauing the method RFAN to return erratic values. My question is that, is it possible to customize AIDA64 to use the desired readout (TACH(0)) from ACPI? Full isasensordump is attached below. Thanks! isasensordump_2.txt
  2. Hi All, Firstly I love AIDA64. It is so feature rich I can't believe I used anything else for so long! I spent 5 hours yesterday fine tuning my LCD panel display on my Android Tablet! I am running a Threadripper System with a ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme X399 TR4 Motherboard. 98% of the sensors are there there, there are just a few missing. For the Fans the latest AIDA Beta shows CPU and CPU OPT and CHA Fan 2. What is missing is CHA FAN 1, H_AMP_FAN, W_PUMP+ and the 3 CHA FANS on the extension board that Plugs into the EXT_FAN header. As I am running a TR system that runs warm it important to be able to monitor the H_AMP_FAN and W_PUMP+ connectors as that will tell me if my Liquid Cooler is operating properly.   3. The sensor report shows the wrong fan headers for the Gigabyte Aorus Z390 master MB. Here is what I was able to determine on my MB fan headers. I did not use System 1 fan header and since AIDA64 did not see a Chassis 3 fan sensor I have to assume that System 1 fan header is your Chassis 3. CPU = CPU CPU OPT = System 6 Pump Chassis 1 = System 3 Chassis 2 = System 2 Chassis 3 = not reported Chassis 4 = System 5 Pump Chassis 5 = System 4 Chassis 7 = CPU_OPT

  6. Hello! With the Asrock Taichi X299 XE, all fans are showing up in AIDA64 except only the CPU optional fan Speed! I'm already using the latest Beta of AIDA64! In Asrock A-Tuning utility all fans are showing up! It would be great, if you can make the CPU optional fan showing up also in AIDA64! ;-) Many thanks!
  7. Hi there, Using Aida64 Extreme, latest version and it doesn't see the Chassis Fan. The MSI Control Center sees it without a problem (bios as well, of course). Anything I can do to help in solving this? Cheers!

Hey guys, the X99-Deluxe has some external board for three additinal pwm-headers: http://www.adobotech.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/X99-DELUXE_Fan-Extension-Card.jpg These RPMs are not shown in Aida, but are present in the ISA as Extension fan 1, 2 and 3. You can also connect three temperature sensors to this board. These might be EXT_Sensor1, 2 and 3 but I'm not 100% shure. Can you please add these to the Sensor Panel?   10. After receiving my Alienware M17xR4, I experiencend two weeks later a strange behavior. After booting the system the CPU and GPU fan stopped turning. This caused a thermal shutdown as soon as the temperatures rised up to 105°C. Even in idle state, the temperature went from normal approx. 50°C up to 60°-70°C. This was a clear indication, that the fan did not worked anymore. I did loadtests with prime95 to force higher load and temperature. I documented most of my tests, which could help DELL to solve the issue. The document is in German. nevertheless, you'll figure out the pictures and the youtube links within the following PDF file : https://dl.dropbox.c...blem_public.pdf - (on request I translate the test document in english). I send this to DELL and they send a technician which replaced the CPU cooling Fan and the Processor Heat Sink. without success. the system fan's stopped turning shortly after booting the system and the temperature went up again. Then they send the technician a second time. He replaced the Graphic card and the GPU Fan. And guess what, no success. still the same behavior. I updated the test documentation and asked DELL for a solution. well, they will replace now the whole system with a new one within the next weeks. one day after they confirmed my replacement I found a single report in a german alienware forum (http://www.aw-commun....html#post43671). This guy reported the same problem as I had. He had the problem with Version 2.30.1900. After he went back to Version AIDA64 2.20.1800, the problem disapeard. Well I immediately removed AIDA64 from my system and rebooted the system. Since then I dont have this problem anymore. this is realy strange ! In the meantime I booted the system serveral times, stressed the CPU with prime95 and did load test with the GPU. The problem I've had, disappeard completely. Is this a coincident ? I dont think so. I assume that AIDA64 block the sensors or is influencing the control modul for the fan. maybe an API issue ? I can't proove this with log files, since I dont know if AIDA is providing this out of the box. But I give AIDA64 another try when my replacement system arrive in approx. 4 weeks and I will see, if this behavior will come back. In the meantime I stay away from using AIDA64 (as a longtime customer) Did someone of you discovered the same issue ? thumbs up tom
  11. This mobo has CPU fan, but a large passive processor heatsink. It also has two fan connectors: CHA and CPU. If both fans are connected, aida displays cpu fan and chassis fan; but if one of them is not present or forcefully stopped by thumb, the remain fan always threats as cpu's. They have different velocities, so I can see how chassis fan "becomes" cpu's and back. In additional, like http://forums.aida64...__fromsearch__1, fans are switched (checked by slightly manually decelerating).     Hp Compaq Nc4400

    Hi I own a Compaq nc4400 laptop with Hewlett-Packard HP Compaq nc4400 (EN004AV) motherboard, Mobile Intel Calistoga-GM i945GM chipset, windows 7. The question that I have is why the AIDA64 does not show me any sensor regarding the cooling fan, the GPU diode and for the motherboard. Thanks.
