Thank you! We're in the process of implementing full support for Sandy Bridge processors and LGA1155 motherboards. We hope to be able to roll out a new AIDA64 release before christmas.

Will be nice present for all of as with AIDA64 2.xx!!

Let me know if any help.

I'm sorry for the delays. We've implemented sensor adjustments for Gigabyte H67 and P67 boards. Please upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at:

http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1219sdk6ngm0yczip

After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.

Let me know how it works.

Thanks,

Fiery

Hi Fiery,

after some research,I discovered that Sandy Bridge has the MSR_PKG_ENERGY_STATUS to get the Processor Power. On Nehalem CPUs this is not available and the same information has to be read from the Intel P67 Chipset Thermal Management Controller instead.

Hope, this can be done in AIDA64 now (without Gigabyte DES sheets), as this is already implemented in HWiNFO,CPUID HM Pro and RealTemp.

Thanks.

Thank you for the suggestion ;) We've implemented power draw measurement, and also enhanced thermal monitoring for Sandy Bridge processors in the following new beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition:

After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.

Let me know how it works.

Thanks,

Fiery

That's normal. With the previous AIDA64 release Sandy Bridge processors could somehow get around our Memory Copy benchmark, and over-optimize it. It resulted in an unrealistically high score. We've fixed it by increasing the used memory block size to avoid any sorts of CPU optimization impacts. So the realistic Memory Copy scores are produced by AIDA64 v1.60, and please ignore the scores obtained by the previous versions.
