Asus P8P67 deluxe/pro/eco

We've implemented sensor tweakings for Asus P8P67 boards in the following new beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition:

3d gaming Lags if LCD or Sidebar is enable.

Everest Ultimate 5.5 is running fine.

Everest doesn't support the recent hardware, and it has no advanced RAID or SSD support either, hence it is capable of reading a lot less sensor info from your hardware than the latest version of AIDA64. In order to let us diagnose the lag issue, please let us know more about your system configuration:

1) Motherboard model, CPU type?

2) Any RAID arrays defined?

3) Any external (USB, FireWire or eSATA) drives connected?

4) Windows version? Kernel type? (32-bit or 64-bit)

Everest doesn't support the recent hardware, and it has no advanced RAID or SSD support either, hence it is capable of reading a lot less sensor info from your hardware than the latest version of AIDA64. Please try to change the option "Disk temperature polling frequency" (in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring) to 1800 seconds. You need the latest AIDA64 beta to have that option. Let me know what happens ;)

lags still existing.

1 to 1 with the polling frequenz form the Sidebar OR! Lcd.

is the time 5 sec, it will lag every 5 sec. If the Time is 2 sec. it will lag every 2 sec.

No lags when the Lcd + Sidebarsupport is disable.

Same Situation on my Asrock P67 Extreme6 - I7 2600k - AMD 6970 - Corsair CMX8GX3M2A1600C9 - G15 Refresh - Corsair F40 in Raid0 - SAMSUNG HD502HJ (S20BJ9CZ520529) in Raid0

But not only in gaming, i'am also experiencing lags in common pc usage, specially shown by laggs during mouse movement. As soon i stop AIDA64, the problem is gone.

Do you have the lags frequently? Matching the update frequency of the LCD? Or you have lags only approx. 20 seconds from each other?

in my case the laggs are more sporadic. While i was gaming, i thought (i'm not sure for 100 %) having seen the laggs appearing when CPU speed/multiplier jumps/falls several steps. For example from 1600 Mhz to 3400 Mhz or inverse.

Do you have the lags frequently? Matching the update frequency of the LCD? Or you have lags only approx. 20 seconds from each other?

P8P67-EVO Sidebar gadget frequency readout does not

downshift when C1E goes to the idle state. The core

voltage however, does reflect this change.

I am using the latest beta version.

Then in your case the lagging is caused by the Intel Rapid Storage RAID drivers :( To get lags less frequently than 20 seconds, you can try changing the option "Disk temperature polling frequency" (in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring) to a higher value, e.g. 1800 seconds. You need the latest AIDA64 beta to have that option.

We've improved the Intel RAID array handling part of AIDA64. Hopefully it will eliminate the lagging issues when AIDA64 reads disk temperature from Intel RAID arrays (or from Intel AHCI SATA controllers).

Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at:

http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1241ow5ief2yskzip

After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.

Then I'm afraid we cannot do more to avoid the lagging issues :) We've done extensive tests in the past 2 weeks, and apparently the issue does not come up with Version 8 of Intel RAID drivers, but it does come up on certain configurations with Version 10 of Intel RAID drivers. The actual slowdown seems to be occuring inside Intel RAID drivers, so we hope Intel will eventually fix that and make us all happy.
