fixed: AIDA64 doesn't read CPU temp (Asus M11BB / F2A55-M)

First of all, sorry for my bad English is not my native language. Well, the problem I have is that at reading sensor data, there is no CPU "package temperature" showed, and the CPU  cores temps are (in spanish, sorry)

 
Temperaturas
Placa base 27 °C  (81 °F)
CPU # 1 / núcleo # 1 0 °C  (32 °F)
CPU # 1 / núcleo # 2 0 °C  (32 °F)
CPU # 1 / núcleo # 3 0 °C  (32 °F)
CPU # 1 / núcleo # 4 0 °C  (32 °F)
Aux 25 °C  (77 °F)
diodo GPU 26 °C  (79 °F)
TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 29 °C  (84 °F)
 
Ventiladores
CPU 526 RPM
Chasis 2766 RPM
GPU 33%
 
These values vary, but to abnormal temperatures, 10-15-20 degrees, then back down to 0.
 
Other programs like HWMonitor can read the values of the CPU temperature. 
 
Asus F2A55-M, Socket FM2, AMD A8 6500
 
I wanted to know what the problem is and how I can fix it. Thank you!

I think the problem is that you're using an old AIDA64 version. Your motherboard is fully supported by the latest AIDA64 release available at:

http://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta

Hi Fiery, thanks for replying. Just downloaded this version, but unfortunately the results are the same  :( everything is OK, except the CPU temperature reading.

Are you sure you've got an Asus F2A55-M motherboard? Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> ISA Sensor Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic.

Yep, I'm sure. Here are the results. It seems the CPU temp is showed as "Aux"  :huh: And the core temps values remain inaccurate.

Dear Fiery,

 

I see you've edited the title of my post, specifying the name of the motherboard, insinuating (or so it seems) that I have no idea what motherboard is mounted in my Pc  :unsure:

 

Well, let me tell you that there's no such a thing as Asus M11BB motherboard, that's the model of the Pc. 

 

This is Asus M11BB:

Since your motherboard reports "M11BB" as both motherboard model and system model, that's what AIDA64 can use to identify the motherboard model and activate the necessary sensor adjustments. And since your motherboard doesn't report its model as "F2A55-M", AIDA64 cannot use the F2A55-M sensor adjustments. We'll fix that in the next AIDA64 update due in 2 days from now ;)

;) BTW, the correct way to handle those things by Asus would be that they put "F2A55-M" in the DMI motherboard product field, and "M11BB" in the DMI system product field. I'm not sure why they want to hide the actual motherboard model and use the system model instead, but such "errors" (ie. I'm not sure if it is intentional) make our work just a little bit harder than it already is ;)

Yeah, I do realize that it's an Asus fault. I could ask them,  but knowing Asus Support,  the "solution" they'll give me will be to use their software...  :rolleyes: I hope that in the next version the problem is fixed. Thanks for the great job!

Hey Fiery, thanks, that was really fast  :o I installed the new version, and CPU temperature is shown correctly, but the Core temps are still displayed incorrectly:

Thank you for the feedback. Please note that core temperatures are not provided by most modern APUs properly. Those APUs provide reliable temperature readings only under heavy load. At idle they tend to provide temperature readings well below ambient (room) temperature.
