Gigabyte X299 Aorus Gaming 9 missing sensors

Hello,

I have an new Aorus 9 x299 based Mb. It has 9 MB temp sensors and 8 fans connectors with RPM sensing, I currently have 6 fans connected + the WC pump, but I'm only seing Proc, CPU OPT, chassis 1 to 3 (all 7 can be monitored using Gb utility). That is using the latest beta (4333 trial)

Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> ISA Sensor Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. You may need to enable status bar in AIDA64 / main menu / View first.

No problem, and thank you!  I'm afraid we cannot find the missing readings in those dumps.  Maybe your motherboard has a 3rd sensor chip that we didn't look for before.  If it's possible, please upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme available at:

https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta

And post an updated ISA Sensor Dump.  We've added a deeper scanning for sensor chips for Gigabyte X299 motherboards in this new AIDA64 build.  Maybe this time it will pick up a "ghost" chip :)

Thank you.  I'm afraid we need to keep looking for the mysterious device that would provide the missing sensor readings... I'll let you know in this topic if we can find it.

Any progress on this ? I downloaded lastes beta, but no luck :(. I'm mostly missing the two external proble sensoors (the board is delivered with two thermistors that you plug in the MB, labeled beloow EC_TEMP1 and 2, I use one to monitor the watercooling liquid temp)

Here is a listof what their own utility reports :

Thank you for the screen shot.  Since it's called "EC", maybe it's related to the Embedded Controller. Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> Embedded Controller Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. You may need to enable status bar in AIDA64 / main menu / View first.

Maybe that dump would show a few registers that could lead us to find the missing sensor readings.

Apparently my X299 gaming 7 is having the same problem: EC_TEMP1 is not listed in AIDA64. HWiNFO64 reads it fine:

We'll fix the issue for both Gigabyte X299 Aorus Gaming 7 and X299 Aorus Gaming 9 motherboards in the next AIDA64 beta update due in a few days from now.  I'll post a message into this topic once the new beta build is available for download.
