BeadaPanel LCD device support

Recommended Posts

BeadaFrame Display Kit is an ARM Cortex-A7 development platform which bundled with a 7" TFT LCD Display. It can be powered and communicated with PC Host by a single Micro USB cable. Currently we use it as a secondary PC monitor for display of hardware status through Remote Sensor LCD.

The question is --  is there any way to implement it as a native support of AIDA LCD screen? We are running Debian Stretch on the ARM Cortex-A7 core.

That looks like a very interesting project.  IMHO it would be best if we could somehow work together to develop a custom, fast LCD protocol that works via USB connection.  If you work for the manufacturer of the Beada hardware, please drop me a private message.  If not, then please let me know what are your qualifications on the software developer's side, since only knowing a bit more about you (or what you can do on the side of your Beada hardware in terms of software/API matters) I can propose possible ways to implement a proper USB communications protocol for the Beada.

I just setup the BeadaPanel 5" LCD and it worked right away with Aida! (I evidently was on the right side of version 6.25.5406 beta).

I could even export and import my config for the Logitech G29 to the settings for BeadaPanel. After some tweaking for the larger screen it looks very good.

I haven't decided yet how I shall place it, maybe in some kind of box perhaps.

Awesome!  I'm glad you've had a great user and customer experience with your panel (and AIDA64 ;) )

      Hey there,
Installed the new card but i do not see all the sensors, like i did on my 2080 ti.
Also, when the GPU is idle (low clock) the GPU Clock field on my sensor panel and LCD appear and disappear sometime. Also,
app takes way longer to load.
If any logs are needed just let me know.
      Cheers!

Hey, new to Aida64 so be gentle,
I have 2 Raspberry Pi 7" touchscreen display. One has a pi connected to it and the other is just the panel. The panel has just a usb port and a micro usb port. What's the easiest way to get this up and running as an external monitor? I've been running ModBros but I'm looking for something more customizable.

Also, other then the one forum post, is there anywhere to get templets to get a start from and build off of that?

i want buy Aida64 to show news at my LCD, but only hardware options. No RSS feed options to show on LCD.

How can i show RSS at my LCD using Aida64?
    • By Soul--Reaver
      System:
      Asus Sabertooth Z77
      Intel 3770K
      Nvidia Geforce 1070
      Logitech Keyboard G510S

      Aida64 version: 6.25.5400

I'm using the LCD in my keyboard and Aida64 to monitor certain system values.
I've noticed that the CPU util percentages are not correct on the LCD display.
The most obvious is that when the system is completely idle (CPU util.png), The LCD will never show a lower number then 28% for CPU7 Utilization (LCD CPU util.png) on the LCD.
The other numbers are also weird or incorrect but that is more of a feeling i have. The other CPU utils feel weird because i never see 1% or 2%. It's always 10%, 11%, 12%, 14%, 22%, 28% etc. but never below 10% except 0%
As shown in "CPU util.png" Aida64 is capable of getting the correct percentages, it just does not show them on the LCD display in my keyboard
      Kind regards
      Swen Kruiper
