RTSS support for FPS monitoring

Recommended Posts

I know this has been discussed before about a year or so ago, but I was wondering if this may be possibly implemented in the future, or at least an attempt to with an alpha build or so?

I have everything I need infront of me on my logitech g19 screen for monitoring while I am in-game( gpu temps, fan speeds, core clock speeds, cpu usage, temps, memory , date an dtime and pc uptime) but the one thing I'm missing is Frames Per Second and DirectX version currently being used. I can easily put it on my pc monitor while in-game with EVGA PrecisionX , but I would rather have it all via AIDA64+Locgitech G19 LCD. Any idea if creating a rough alpha build implementing currently available RTSS monitoring software ie: msi afterburner, evga precisionx or rivatuner? thanks

:( aww , it's not even a possibility? not even a quick discussion in the aida64 employee lounge?

they could bump up the price you know..by about $10-$20 for that feature .. so it mean more $$$$$ :)

It would require a separate hook module for DX9, DX10, DX11, OpenGL, etc. I'm afraid it's simply too much efforts for us this time.

Could you add support to read Fraps value?

LCD Studio read it from a plugin, maybe you could add a plugin too.

Could you provide programming details on how can a 3rd party application read FPS values from Fraps? We've checked out Fraps, but couldn't find such an option there...

It's the last item in the System category.  Please note that you need to have Fraps running in the background to make the item appear in the list.

Want to say thank you, just moving over from LCDstudio to use the LCD tool in aida as it now seems to be on par.   Wonder if there is a place were people could post / share there LCD setups???

You can open a new topic for that in the Hardware Monitoring forum:

Name it e.g. "Show off your LCD setups" ;)
