  1. I been using this LCD for 2 years it's connected directly to the motherboard using a USB 2 SPI options. This issue presents itself sometime after I lock the desktop, come back an find the Matrix LCD screen black. Nothing I do gets it going again until I reboot. Everything works fine after a restart. I originally thought it was experimenting Fan Controller or Argus Fan monitor for better control of the water loops and have sense removed them, originally because I thought the apps were fighting over control, removing them did not resolve the this issue, when LCD is displaying the info looks good and is changing. Prior to this those 2 apps would cause the sensors being displayed to stop updating. Then I tried going back to Aida64 v7.60.7300, but it made no difference. Works fine until the computer is locked then LCD still goes black at some point. I don't have any sleep settings or power save stuff enabled. I have disabled power saving options on everything associated with the LCD and USB bus to include the options in device manager. It does the same thing with the Aida64 v7.65.7400 as well. I will try going back to an earlier version from before 7.60.7300 to see if the issue goes away. But this makes me wonder if it is a bug in the last 2 versions.
  2. Can anyone explain when to use the external application options in Aidea64 preferences? I may try these playing wiht these but need to research these options.
  3. My research is indicating it is a collision/polling issue between the apps, supposedly argus and aida64 current use a sequencing poll which allows for concurrent access but that doe snot appear to be the case. I don't know yet were the current version of fan control falls in with this concurrent/polling issue yet, but I cam across a post from about 3 years ago that indicated otherwise.
  4. Well that was an epci failure, unless I am missing some settinng that is letting argus take full control it is interferrign wiith the Aida just like fan control did..
  5. never heard of it will have to check it out.
  6. I been using Aida64 for while with a sensor display. I recently started playing around with the FanControl app from Remi Mercier, as I am trying to take proper control of my radiator fans for the GPU loop. My Asrock Z690 Tachi board does not see a GPU sensor for me to link the fan header I use for the radiator, so I either have to choose another temp source or set it to fan speed in bios. I was hoping to use fan control to do this. But I noticed my sensor display has issues when the fan control app is running. If it loads it does not update it shows static values at the time it loaded not current changing values. If I turn off fan control it displays fine. So I was wondering why the two are fighting over a simple sensor read. I am not using Aida to control anything. Is there some setting I am missing or do I need to just scrap my idea of using Fan Control to better control my GPU water loop fans.

    NIC numbering

If your using the Ethernet Index number there a good chance it will change. Just depends on how much you much you manipulate the installed devices. Uninstalling it or re-installing it are good ways to force a index number change. I think some driver updates monkey with it as well. I recently found my self fighting with windows over what type of network connection it was, and during the process something I did in moving it from public to domain or private caused the index number to change again.
  8. I am guessing the HDMI connection is providing power for the 7inch?
  9. I am looking for a 7in screen that can do 16 or 24 bit color using a USB2 interface. I was looking at the Matrix Orbital EVE4x-70A-IPS-BLH-TPN-F128-USB-VS but with the graphic ram limit of 1MB you cannot use the full resolution above 8 bit color. I am trying to avoid going the GTT route due to the cost. I am also planning to use the internal mobo USB headers. Any other recommendations?
  10. Are you guys using USB or HDMI interface?
