Zatara's post in 8.30.8300 causes WigiDash to freeze was marked as the answer
I first tried a new cable, but the problem persisted. I then uninstalled the WigiDash software and rolled back to several earlier versions. I did the same with the AIDA64 software, and the problem was resolved after installing version 8.20.
