Apologies for necro'ing this thread, but...
It's now June of 2025. I have a Ryzen 3900 and a Radeon 6950XT using an 8.8" secondary monitor for the status display. I just started using AIDA64 Extreme and I'm having these exact same lockups (my computer does not lock up otherwise). So, for anyone coming to this thread via Google search like I did...this is still a thing. Looks like I won't be spending my $$$ on Aida64 Extreme Edition. Thank you, Michel, for posting this before I gave them my money.
