Fraps hasn't been updated for over 3 years and starts to cause a lot of problems with newer games. Either it breaks the Steam-Overlay or crashes while booting up games like Metal Gear Solid 5. Are there any plans to replace fraps fps monitoring with something that works with newer game releases?
Steam and Ubisoft both now have built in FPS counters . Look under "settings" in both (while logged into your account(s) ) . Besides that , Evga precision (not the easiest to set up like it used to be , and/or MSI Afterburnner .
