[Newbie confusion over sensor info (Dell Studio XPS 7100)]

My BIOS does not have the facility to read sensor info. It is good to hear that my CPU isn't running exceptionally hot!

[Newbie confusion over sensor info (Dell Studio XPS 7100)]

Hi,

I have a Dell Studio XPS 7100 and I have looked at the sensor temperature readings and I am afraid that I don't quite get what is meant.

My confusion stems from the CPU reading being high (usually over 80 degrees C) with each of the 6 cores reading around 30-35 degrees C.

Is this normal, or is there anything I need to do.

I have had no errors or BSOD, etc - I'm just not 100% sure of what the readings mean.
