  1. The shell has been printed and assembled. The Raspberry Pi 3 is running Bookworm 64. The speed is a bit slow, but it is just enough to run this simple application. For testing, I set the hourly time and the school reminder. The next step is to display the weather.
  2. I had a broken 10" LED clock, so I made a clock with an 11.26 Inch 440x1920 HDMI Screen. I used pygame to set up two alarms, one for the table to remind the kids that it's time to go to school, and the other for easy viewing of the clock. I gave it three skins and an old-fashioned clock ticking sound, and of course a warning sound that can clearly serve as a reminder.
  3. The new 11.26" 440x1920 is natively portrait, but can be set to landscape using display rotation. A Raspberry Pi can be mounted on the rear of the display, which can be turned into an Aida64 wireless display with a simple setup. Of course, the display shell is not provided, only the STL file can be directly used to make the shell using a 3D printer, and spray painted with your favorite color. 7.84"/8.8"/11.26" display link: https://www.amazon.com/ElecLab-400x1280 ... 4. Here is another example of an aida64 wireless secondary screen that can use the Raspberry Pi's classic 8.8-inch long bar screen. 8.8"display link: https://www.amazon.com/ElecLab-400x1280 ... 5. There are several input channels, and this feature is quiThis display has 3 input channels, I think it can be used in many occasions. It is provided with a 3D STL shell file, which looks pretty good. The fan shell can cool the Raspberry Pi. te practical.
  6. When I got Raspberry Pi 4/5, the old version of Raspberry Pi 1/2/3 was on vacation because of its slow speed. The Aida64 on the PC occupied the HDMI port for a long time, which gave me the idea of making a wireless secondary screen. We designed a display with 3 input ports, which can be used with the old version of Raspberry Pi to realize my idea very conveniently. I chose Raspberry Pi 2, which can run the buster 32-bit desktop system, and its built-in chromium browser only needs the following simple settings to display the PC-side aida64 interface. Of course, aida64 needs to work in RemoteSensor mode. The 7-inch display has 2 HDMI input ports and one AV input port. One HDMI port is dedicated to the connection of the Raspberry Pi, and the other is a common HDMI port for connecting to an external PC/game console/HDMI development board/HDMI set-top box. There is also an AV port that we use to connect an old AV microscope lens, and of course it can also connect other AV cameras/AV game consoles.Of course I can also connect a professional HDMI microscope to the HDMI port of the display. aida64 uses the default interface refresh rate of 1 second, so its network consumption is very low, about 200KB~500KB per second, and the power consumption of the whole machine is about 4W. Downloaded and printed out the Raspberry Pi fan cover and used yellow paint. Edit /home/pi/.config/autostart/my.desktop on the Raspberry Pi using buster's terminal and a USB keyboard, with chromium set to point to the PC's IP: [Desktop Entry] Type=Application Exec=chromium --kiosk "192.168.1.100" Display link: https://www.amazon.com/ElecLab-Raspberry-Touchscreen-Capacitive-1024x600/dp/B09MWDVHWL STL file: https://github.com/elecl.../7INCH_HDMI_ ... e/main/V16 Fan cover: https://github.com/eleclab-rpi/rpi_fan_case
  7. The white photopolymer printed shell is back, I used industrial yellow spray paint and it looks pretty nice after assembly. Forgot to print the tilt bracket. This back case does not have mounting holes for the Raspberry Pi and a new version of the case is needed.
  8. My big LED clock is broken. I want to use it with a small Raspberry Pi to display the weather clock information. I referred to the code at https://github.com/mkgeiger/rpi-weather-clock and debugged it. , it will be modified later to suit the UI for this screen.
  9. The shell file has been downloaded, it should be very beautiful, wait for the printing to complete. Maybe I also need to prep for spray paint. https://github.com/eleclab-rpi/7.84_8.8_11.26INCH_HDMI
  10. I use two 15.6" 1920x1080 displays for work. The computer also has a Type-c interface. I used a Type-c to HDMI converter to connect the 11.26" displays. It's 440x1920 resolution, I downloaded ElecLab's skin to test it out, it's cool. 11. Great, this is a very technical project, and I could only see the finished skin before, but now your post has given us a hint of the production process and details. Thanks so much for sharing.
  12. I found an application that is similar to this long screen. I don’t know what kind of UI can be used to easily create such an interface.
  13. The full-color 2510 fan has arrived, and the lights change beautifully when it runs.
  14. The shell has been printed and the assembly process is as follows,Now I can connect the aida64 wirelessly eliminating the HDMI cable and using only one power cable. 7.4 Inch 1280x400 Touchscreen https://www.amazon.com/ElecLab-Raspberry-Touchscreen-Capacitive-1280x400/dp/B09YJ37SBH/ref=sr_1_10?crid=CN01QCOOJG9V&keywords=raspberry+pi+screen&qid=1696048811&sprefix=raspberry+pi+scree%2Caps%2C328&sr=8-10 5V Colorful Fan https://www.amazon.com/HKWANTAT-Hydraulic-Bearings-Brushless-25x25x10mm/dp/B09KXQFR8G/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1XV30V7MIJN6M&keywords=2510%2Bfan%2B5v%2Bcolor&qid=1696047643&sprefix=2510%2Bfan%2B5v%2Bcolorf%2Caps%2C284&sr=8-1&th=1 Display Case https://github.com/eleclab-rpi/7INCH4_HDMI_1280x400/blob/main/7inch4_1280x400_Case_Type6_For_RPI.STL Fan Case https://github.com/eleclab-rpi/rpi_fan_case/blob/main/RPI3_HAT_FAN2510_DURE.STL Aida64 skin https://github.com/eleclab-rpi/7INCH4_HDMI_1280x400/blob/main/star 1280-400.rslcd Raspberry Pi 2/3 8x M3x14 screws 4x M2.5x20 screws 4x M2.5x8 screws
