I've been using Everest for a long time to display various values on my Logitech G19.
Without having changed anything on my PC, something went wrong after a reboot. Everest always read the correct values for my Phenom II X6 1055T (2.8 GHz @ 200 MHz FSB or IDLE 800 MHz @ 200 MHz FSB), but after a reboot the values went crazy and Everest showed 3156 MHz @ 193 MHz FSB and IDLE 2184 MHz @ 188 MHz FSB.
Then i upgraded Everest to the new AIDA64, but it also reads the wrong values!! The FSB speed switches from 70 - 213 MHz, but never shows the correct value of 200 MHz, also the IDLE frequency is wrong it always shows 11 x 198.40 MHz = 2184 MHz in the overclocking section and on my G19.
My PC isn't overclocked, the CPU and the FSB run @ standard frequency!! Every other program (eg. Open Hardware Monitor or CPU-Z) reads the correct values!
What can i do that AIDA64 reads again the correct values?? A re-installation of AIDA64 haven't helped so far!!
My system: Phenom II X6 1055T on a MSI 870A-G54 mainboard, OS: Win 7 64 bit.
Sorry for my bad english ;-) !!!
