  1. Thanks a lot! This is why I love Aida64, great support that gets a customer's feedback implemented quickly.
  2. Looking good so far, much appreciated!
  3. Attached is the dump. One thing to note, you have the names reversed. Currently the GPU VRM temperature is reporting the GPU Memory temperature and vice versa. Would appreciate a fix for that please. Will all this be incorporated in to the next beta/final, or will I always have to use this special version of Aida? Thanks for the awesome help btw! nvidiasmbusdump.zip
  4. There are two new temp sensors, GPU and GPU Ambient and they appear match what MSI AB says. Would like to rename them though to match memory and vrm instead of GPU and Ambient, if possible. Attached are the dumps as requested. Thanks for the quick work! nVidia Aida dumps.zip

  7. Hi there, recently picked up an MSI GTX 680 Lightning and wondering if Aida64 can be updated to include the VRM temps? If possible, also the Memory temps since this card seems to have a controller to read all these temps. MSI's Afterburner tool supports the temperature reading/display of this card to its fullest, so it would be great if Aida64 was updated to support these extra temps as well.
  8. Same here, haven't seen the issue so far, so I'd say it's fixed. I'll keep an eye on it though and report if I come across it again. Thanks again for your due diligence in rectifying the issue.
  9. Sweet! Good to know you guys were on it... Let you know how it goes Fiery, thanks for the help!
  10. Hmm, maybe it's the same issue I have, but I never paid attn to if it happened after my monitor going to sleep. Guess I'll keep an eye on it...
  11. My Asus card is the HD7970-DC2T-3GD5 and the Gigabyte is the GV-R797OC-3GD.
  12. Ya, I originally bought the Asus DCU2T card and I believe the issue occured then as I only got the Gigabyte a week or two after. Note, both my cards are non reference cooling and I believe they both might have non reference VRMs. Could that be why? I have the Gigabyte Windforce OC Edition and the Asus DCU II Top Edition if that helps any.
  13. Hi there, I just wanted to add that it seems to still be an issue with Aida64 exclusively. I formatted my machine for other reasons and I have yet to install much, from a GPU standpoint, it's just the drivers, Aida64 and games; no MSI AB installed as of yet. I still had the issue where the VRM temps were not being updated unless I closed and re-launched Aida. Note I am temporarily using only one GPU right now and the issue definitely creeped up with only one GPU. So, I'm going to have to say that there is something strange with Aida still (trying the latest beta) or could it be drivers?. Any other ideas? Thanks.

  15. Will do the next time I have the issue. Thanks again for the assistance.
  16. Ok, tried the beta and it hasn't resolved the issue. I did notice though that it only stopped updated the VRM temp on my master GPU, the secondary GPU was still showing updating VRM temps. Closing and relaunching Aida started to update the VRM temps on the master GPU again. Any other ideas? Thanks.
  17. Hi Fiery, thanks for the quick response. 1) No, seems to only be the VRMs. 2) Yes, I have 2 cards, but I had this issue when I had one card only IIRC. 3) Yes, MSI AB, but that tool does not monitor VRM temps. I use it for OC'ing the cards. 4) Will do and let you know if that resolves things. Thanks.
  18. I've got a bug report I guess with aida 2.20.1800 and the Radeon 7970 series. Aida intermittently stops updating the VRM temperature on my GPUs. If I close and re-launch Aida, it starts to update the VRM temps again. An annoyance when trying to test temps related to OCing the cards, so wondering if anyone has any suggestions?
  19. I see the newest version has a GPU VRM temperature now. I guess there is a diode readout unlike originally suggested?
  20. So got this working now since I had NIS ignore the two files in question. Would appreciate if you guys could post when Norton confirms they've updated their definitions to no longer flag these files as viruses so I can remove them from the exclusion list. Now in terms of monitoring, this version is definitely limited compared to what I could read from my Radeon 6950. The main temps I used to use when I had a 6950 were the MemIO, ShaderIO, VRM and Diode/Core temps. Are these going to be added to a later revision of Aida, or are these temperatures just not possible anymore? Thanks.
  21. Is there a reason why Norton Internet Security 2012 is detecting trojans/viruses in aida_update.dll and aida_diskbench.dll?
  22. Same here, so looking forward to this update.
