  1. LOL, I stand corrected! Just for curiosity sake I powered off and reset CMOS "again".... CPU sensor UNSTUCK! I shall now endeavor to bang my head on the desk repeatedly while reciting a DOS manual from 1990.
  2. EVGA thought this was a motherboard sensor, I've seen stuck cores before on CPU's, this isn't what's happening. Good thought though!
  3. They suggested I RMA the board as they thought there was a stuck temperature sensor, but I think it's their BIOS... I just got the board this past Saturday so will return it to my local store for a replacement. If the same thing happens I'll have some ammunition to ask for a BIOS fix from EVGA. I was hoping the situation would be reversed, you offer some info I could go back to EVGA with , but it looks like the path of least resistance is a board swap since I'm in my 30 day return period.   4. Hi Fiery, In the BIOS I see proper CPU temp, 40c+ fluctuating. In EVGA E-LEET I see the same 111c temp, stuck, non-fluctuating. Do you recommend I RMA the mobo? Thank you.
  5. Hi, New motherboard, new technical issues FUN! I sent an email, but then remembered we get good support via this forum. CPU temp stuck at 111c! lol, but the CPU package and cores look good.   6. Rebooted without loading ASRock Extreme automatically and CPU fan is fine in AIDA64. Pretty obvious issue, two monitoring programs not cooperating, but relatively new motherboard for me so didn't figure it out until you mentioned the issue Fiery. Thanks! Working fine now.
  7. Interesting, I forgot I had this loaded, so I turned off ASRock's Extreme Tuner and AIDA64 doesn't see a CPU Fan anymore.

  9. Hi, I have the ASRock Extreme7 Gen3 motherboard. I can see the CPU fan in the bios and it's always on consistently, but in Aida64 it constantly alternates between 0 and the fan's current RPM. 0 for 5-30 seconds and then shows the RPM for 5-30 seconds and then back to 0, etc...

  11. I have an ASRock Extreme7 Gen3 motherboard. It's working very well. I noticed an interesting thing the other day; Under Windows' Device Manager, System Devices, the "IntelĀ® 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family Thermal Control - 1C24" device is not present at boot time, however after running AIDA64 the device appears in the System Devices list and stays there until the PC is rebooted again. Thoughts Fiery?
  12. Hey thanks Fiery, I got that part years ago lol , but that's a very important part to clarify of course thank you. For this mobo, the problem was the SMART option in this motherboard's setup is hidden when you select RAID mode on the storage controller, however if you set it to IDE the option becomes visible and you can enable it and then change back to raid mode.
  13. I was wondering because I'm in raid mode and didn't see an option. The trick is to put it in IDE mode, enable S.M.A.R.T. and save bios settings, then enter back into the bios and turn raid back on. S.M.A.R.T. information was available in AIDA64 after this change on my two raid sets.
  14. My old mobo used to give me SMART details for each individual drive in my raid set. Not this one?
