Rdeis Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 I’m trying to diagnose an overheating issue on my iPhone 11 Pro. Dr Phone’s website says that this app shows the sensor reading in the screen test pane, but I can’t find it. is the temperature reading available on iPhone 11pro? Quote
ShaneC Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 On my iPhone 14, it shows no temperature sensor, nor is there one shown on any of the settings sections. From what I've seen online, this is not really available on the iPhone, in spite of what is posted various places. Quote

I’ve had a similar issue before with my iPhone 11 Pro! Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t give a direct temperature reading in the system settings or through any standard app. If you’re using an app like Dr. Phone, it might not be able to access that information directly unless it’s a specific diagnostic tool Apple uses. You can try using the built-in “Battery Health” section in Settings, though, to check if your battery is causing the overheating. Sometimes a battery with reduced capacity can generate more heat.
