      there is no need to do 16 steps, you need all 16 to be occupied, but if you only have 5, then you need to repeat every 3 steps, that is, 0-3 will be step 1, then 3-6 step 2, then 6 -8 step 3, and so on, in each step from 0 to 3 all 4 pictures were the same equal to your step 1, in this case the animation will be without interruptions
