  1. Most of and if not all my issues with AIDA64 sensors would go away if AIDA64 Extreme had the ability to read sensor values from external software such as HWINFO similarly to how RainMeter does. In the time I've been using AIDA the overwhelmingly common issues I see is lack of support for hardware, not enough support for certain hardware, and or incorrect values being reported for certain hardware. If AIDA could display values from external software in SensorPanel most of and if not all of these reports would likely go away and would drastically reduce the time and development maintaining the software and would likely open the door to improve many other things. Like the lack of background transparency for example.
  2. no it did not, theres something inherently wrong with aida64 when switching driver versions. the precaution i take now is having aida closed before any driver upgrade/downgrade
  3. im replying cause i share your frustration with aida. for paid software its highly disappointing and frustrating the issues with correctly reporting values and the lack of actual support to fix the most basic of sensor values. i have 7900x3d and 7900xtx, asrock mb. my cpu % basically always says 0 unless im playing a game and the gpu load is never inline with what windows or adrenaline is reporting. the msi psu fan rpm hops randomly between 0 and 5000 rpm and mostly sits at 0 even tho its spinning. the fan itself can only reach 2000. hwinfo and hwmonitor reports all these sensors perfectly. can literally line them all up side by side with adrenaline and task manager and the values are all exactly the same. not aida tho, its pulling number out of right field somewhere, who knows. once an alternate solution comes out for a hardware panel im switching. id use rainmeter but it causes random fps drops when its active. so very unfortunately stuck with aida and its incorrect reporting of basic sensors like cpu % until an alternate solution arrives.
  4. mine is the merc 310, not sure if that matters. i used the amd util. i can get sensors in everything besides AIDA. whats odd is AIDA sees everything about the GPU under Display. It just does not show in sensors. i might give DDU a shot since you mentioned it..
  5. I can confirm that downgrading from 24.7.1 to 24.5.1 AIDA stops detecting the GPU after reboot. After installation is complete AIDA can still see and monitor the GPU in the Sensors/Sensor Panel. But after reboot it no longer sees the GPU. As a side note, in HWiNFO and in Adrenaline I can see all sensors.
  6. I dug into this a little more. I was on driver version 24.5.1 and AIDA has been detecting the gpu fine on that version. I have been on that version since June. 3 days ago I updated to driver version 24.7.1 and no issue in AIDA. I was experiencing stuttering in driver version 24.7.1 with a game that I have never experienced that before. I reverted back to 24.5.1 and this is when AIDA stopped detecting the GPU in the Sensors/Sensor Panel only. I can see all the GPU information in the main window under "Display". I then updated back to driver version 24.7.1 and AIDA is detecting the GPU again. Problem is, this driver version has issues so I will need to go back to 24.5.1 which I am assuming will again break AIDA. I plan to test this gain shortly.
  7. forgot to quote
  8. I updated my graphics drivers and after reboot aida64 no longer shows any GPU in the senors list. ive tried reinstalling but it does show in GPU and GPGPU
  9. i noticed the psu power package/wattage is not the actual draw from the wall but the internal power draw. im guessing thats also why there is no efficiency? im not sure if efficiency is an actual metric published by the psu or not but it is available in other monitoring utils. internal / wall = efficiency regardless, the psu fan rpm is def not working 😭
  10. ignore this post please. i was under the impression hotspot worked like it did on vega where edge != junction. it appears hotspot is truly the hottest spot on the gpu now
  11. Works in other monitoring software for the MSI MEG Ai1300P Also power supply efficiency is unavailable
  12. i can't find the junction temperature in the sensors list. all i see is the base/core temp and hot spot which are both useless for AMD cards
