Not only have I restarted ive re-installed windows not a refresh but clean build. OK so I've tracked down the problem, it appears that this problem manifests itself when running the portable version of 4952 as stand alone. When doing an upgrade of the installed version for example, upgrading the installation of 4900 to 4952 through the upgrade process the problem does not appear. HWinfo works as intended, AIDA64 4952 has broken this offset reading as it works fine in 4900 or 4944. Core temp also shows the correct reading from the DTS sensor In this case the CPU thermal diode is not providing invalid readings AIDA64 is HWinfo v6.01.3660 -

[FIXED]Blank Sensor page (Asus ROG Crosshair VI Extreme)
Deckard replied to Deckard's topic in Hardware monitoring
option one freezes the sensor panel and is unusable in current state (sensorpanelcrash) and doesnt detect sensors option two has sensors missing and sensor panel wont launch, context menu shows "Hide sensor panel" when panel is not showing (not off-screen I checked) when clicking "hide sensor panel" it does nothing. I have used revo uninstaller to remove all AIDA files in case of leftovers and its still the same. any other options>?- 6 replies
