Monitor feed - onboard graphics or Graphics card ?

should I plug in my HDMI cable to use my onboard graphics to run the 10' monitor or plug in to my GPU Rog Strix RTX3080. I have it running at the moment with the onboard graphics but looking for the best option

I use the HDMI port of my graphics card. I don't think it matters.
