Squall Leonhart Posted December 22, 2010 Share Posted December 22, 2010 it means one or more of the sectors on your drive has been reallocated to one of the spare sectors on the disk edge due to multiple read/write errors. Depending on the nature of the fault, if logical it can be repaired by zero filling and chkdsking the drive with (the sector counter will never reset), however if it is a physical fault, it may result in more reallocated sectors and eventual failure.
