Sensor Panel design lost (after update)

Hi all,

cannot find this issue on the internet. I experienced it twice.
My sensor panel that I designed, with hours of work, is gone and back to the basic blue screen that you start with after first installing AIDA.
I've had this 2 years ago, I think after/because I updated AIDA. Since then, I never updated AIDA, but I think I (or the misses) by accident clicked yes on the popup message saying there was an update available, and now again I am back to the default blue sensor panel. 

Very very annoying. Anyone recognises this issue? Is there a way I can recover my design? What can I do to prevent this in the future?

save your work by exporting it then import back.  this cleans up all the pointers and stuff in the background and gives you a backup copy of you skin.
