What is the difference between sensorpanel and LCD?

One has the extension "sensorpanel" and the other one "rslcd". When I create a template in lcd, there is no way to see it on my 5 "external screen, however the ones I create in the sensorpanel tab, if I can see them without problem.
I don't understand what the difference is
