fixed: Alienware M17x R4 - AIDA64 caused fan stop

Hello, This is just to share my own experience. I had the exact same problem (i.e. GPU fan that stops spinning) with my Alienware M17x R3. Disabling the use of the Dell SMI Sensor fixed also the problem in my case. Frederic
