  1. Working for me too on Win7, thanks! At first, after a reboot, the Gadget went back to default color, but then selected 'Use HKLM in Registry' and rebooted, and it's fine now.
  2. Just got word from Mice007 that the gadget changing color to default will be fixed in next Beta release. Here is the section in the forums for that.
  3. Yes, next reboot, I need to set it again. I meant to test that ealier, just doing it now and seeing that's the case. Thanks for the reminder stasio. I hope it can be fixed, thanks.
  4. Thanks Stasio, that worked for me! I should have known. I just right clicked the Desktop Gadget on the desktop and under 'Options', changed the 'Predefined Color Scheme to my usual black color.
  5. I too noticed this just now after rebooting, seeing no option anymore to change the Desktop Gadget's background color. I'm using Windows 7 x64 Professional and the same build as ulimate_live, 1847. Thanks!
  6. This is version 1026 of IRST, and on Station Drivers site, the explanation as to why is in French, and I can't read it lol. I speak English and some Spanish only. Can you tranlate it for me? Thanks! Grimmace, what did you mean on what you last said?
  7. Thanks grimmace and Squall Leonhart. Grimmace, you probably mean't to type in the newer version of IRST, not the older one.
  8. Where do you go to get the new IRST updates? I go to Intel site and see an older version listed as the newest. I currently have 10.5.0.1015 from the Gigabyte download site that I check often for updates on my board. I have the Gigabyte GA-X58A UD7. Thanks. By the way, I don't have a RAID setup but use this SATA RAID driver for AHCI only on my WD Velociraptors.
  9. No wonder I don't see the PCB temp of my new Sparkle x580 Calibre video card in EVGA Precision, like I did with my GTX 480. I'ts good to know why now, thanks as well Fiery.
  10. Your welcome Fiery, thanks for a good program!
  11. Yes, sure does work. I tried it last night in the game "Aion" with EVGA Precision 2.0.2 running with AIDA64.

    DPC Latency

I too have the Gigabyte-X58A-UD7 board, but it's the revision 1 version. I run DPC Latency with no spikes or problems. I don't use Gigabyte's Easy Tune software, that's a good point to check if you have that installed.

    DPC Latency

Thanks for the info about the difference between the two programs Squall Leonhart. Using Latency Monitor.
  14. Ok I opened RST 10 using only AHCI without RAID and no cores got stuck, so that issue must be with RAID only. Thanks Fyew-jit-tiv.
  15. I have a question on the RST 10 version or any version. I don't have a RAID setup but use it for AHCI only, since I have 2 Western Digital Veliciraptors. Fyew-jit-tiv, when you talk about running RST 10 do you mean with a RAID setup or just having the program open for info? Since I have AHCI and no RAID I'm sure this doesn't apply to me. Thanks.

    DPC Latency

Is there a difference between Latency Monitor and DPC Latency Checker? Just curious. I use DPC Latency Checker ever since you guys mentioned it here, I didn't know about it. No drop-outs for me on Windows 7 Pro 64.
  17. I have this issue as well with the vanishing alerts. I set alerts for monitoring the cooling fans as well, the CPU and Power Supply fan (which is the second fan on my Noctua NH-D14) and Chassis #1.
  18. Yay thanks Fiery and Squall Leonhart! I'm willing to wait, at least knowing it will happen soon I learned something new too, this global namespace for synchronization mutexes lol. This will help the others on the forum having these collisions too.
  19. Ok I tried it with disabling the gpu fan speed measurement in the Stability settings with beta build 1176 and the collision occurred again, having EVGA Precision open as well. Fiery I saw your answer to the other guy and me here: Are you running any other hardware monitoring, overclocking or tweaking software in the background? E.g. Asus PC Probe, Asus TurboV, ASRock OC Tuner, EVGA Precision, AMD OverDrive, Rivatuner, GPU-Z, HWMonitor, etc? Make sure to close all of them, because they may collide with the low-level hardware monitoring module of AIDA64. So I'll keep AIDA64 build 1176 and have to close EVGA Precision with Rivatuner included, until they update their mutexes globally too.
  20. Thank you Squall Leonhart, I'll disable the gpu fan speed measurement in the Stability settings and reinstall the 1176 beta build and see how it works. I'll get back to you on it tommorrow.
  21. I'm only using EVGA Precision Utility to monitor my video card, the GTX 480, temps, etc. while AIDA64 is running. So you are saying that EVGA Precision Utility is using old synchronization mutexes? I hope they will update their software to the new mutexes. Thanks Fiery.
  22. Incorrect Squall Leonhart, I'm at the same place in game as I was last night with Evga Precision open now and running smoothly. Having AIDA64 build 1176 last night with Aion open was making EVGA precision go crazy lol. There definitly is a problem with the 1176 AIDA beta build for me. I'm currently using the 1170 beta build. Any other ideas Fiery and guys?
  23. I just changed to 1170 and running my game Aion now with AIDA64 running and all is ok. I saw that nothing really changed between the 2 builds, but what else can it be?
  24. Enabaling that setting still doesn't work, causing my game to pause every second as posted here: I may have to go back to version 1.20.1170 until I get a fix, thanks Fiery.
