This solution I found in another thread related to images disappearing also solved my problem with the custom gauges. The solution I found is to make the .PNG files that you use for each state on the gauge as small as possible by removing as much metadata as possible. Hope this helps someone out!

Thank you so much ,this worked for me for now at least. I guess the issue is when the file size is too large. This fixed the issue for images as well as the same issue I was having with custom gauges as well. I just exported the PNG for each state for the gauge with the smaller size and my gauges now work!

I am having this same problem even after updating to the latest beta. Is there a fix for this issue?
