I've modded your sensor to meet my needs such as larger cpu core bars increqased in size, i added other gauges for up / download speeds, since i cant use the FPS i changed it to time / date and i added a few custom tweaks :)

Nice! So FPS is not working even after installing the rivatuner statistics server?

You need to turn on DIMM sensor in Aida Settings I dont remember where exactly. I had native turned it off.
Edit: DIMM thermal sensor support enabled in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability

    That worked perfect. Thank you!!!

Yep, I am also watch this thread for long. I not sure this thread revived due to some youtuber. I saw some video about sensor panel long ago, and jayztwocents video not really great or any new from the previous videos. It seem people start care for look more than just high performance PC. Recent panel in this thread had really good quality, and people willing to share it. That make a good community.

About any new update in sensor panel, not sure if AIDA will listen to us. Sensor panel still be the same for so many year. To be honest, it still quire good and not slow down the system. Of course it would be great if they let us had animation in panel with higher refresh rate to make it smooth.

I have tried others but not finding anything better yet. Have you seen anything good with animations or still prefer this one too?

the screen i got came with its own stand which can be adjusted, it also came with a full size HDMI to mini hdmi cable and a usb cable for power.

like you an OLED screen would be cool, if i could afford it i would use a 2nd hand OLED monitor off ebay as a sensor panel .. if i could really afford it i would have a 55" OLED as my main screen and a 2 x 23" OLED monitors at each side of my main screen, 1 of them would be the sensor panel with absolutely all pc stats and the other set up for social media like facebook and twitter while the main for everything else, heck think of a streamers setup and you get the idea ... a hardcore tech setup :D

hahaha reminds me of when I had a 65" DLP as my main monitor..that was a dumb setup but it was cool for 3D vision though LOL
Right now I have a 32" 4k for my photo editing..a 27" sort of for photo editing but more video editing due to its color space capabilities and a 27" 144hz for CSGO mostly
But I dont want to use either for monitoring hence the tablet inside my PC cause it looks cooler :D

i modded a few in my time .... i some i did not stop modding untill aidia64 kept crashing because of the amount of stuff i had in each panel :D:D.

being in the uk the prices may vary around the world.

    i got this one

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B083XZ5V17/

LOL I see. I was debating of putting a lot more info but having the tablet under my main monitor or putting less but bigger info so I can see it from my chair while the tablet is inside my PC. When standing, the tablet inside the PC is just at the border when my vision gets blurry but I cannot use my glasses for my PC as I dont have near sight issues..so it was tricky LOL
That looks very nice that LCD. I wish there was an OLED in that size (the tablet is fine but I would rather be using an HDMI input) as I am a sucker for perfect blacks. :D

this is really good, i suck at making sensor panels as my attempt was superceeded by another user here on the forum.

i attempted a star trek LCARS where the warpcore was set as the cpu core speed and other LCARS such as the weapons array were set for the individual cpu cores and fan speed were set for other parts of LCARS.

needless to say i scrapped it as the file size ended up being over 100meg ... i went overkill on ALL aspects covering absolutely EVERYTHING motherboard, cpu, gpu, psu etc etc related.

my own personal sensor panel exceeded 400meg ..... yeah ... when i do something i need it to be perfection and i need to use ALL the parts of the sensor panel ... its a major fault for me >.<

Oh to be clear I modded that panel to fit my needs to see more info like all cores etc :D But I did not design it at all. I am not that good LOL
With my current Red/Black/White RGB case theme and using the OLED screen (old Samsung Tab S 10.5), it looks perfect!
Which LCD did you get btw?

i've been here for a long time and for months and months this thread was dead.

then out the blue jayztwocents makes a video and .. POW .. in 3 weeks this thread went from being 25 pages to 56 pages.

seems a popular well known and liked ( citation needed :D) youtuber has this effect on aida64 community for custom sensor panels is really good.

i do have a request ... when making your sensor panel can you try and include higher resolution panels, these days you can get 1920 x 1080 in a 7" screen, i bought a new screen for my system and i found out it has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and to top it off ... it has freaking native HDR, its got better specs than my actual monitor.

anyway i want to say thank you to the aida64 sensor panel community for reviving this thread once more.

to the aida64 dev team i have a couple of requests for software ... can you include FPS abilities in any of the next updates.

i hate having any more programs running in the background which suckup ram.

What panel is that? Just curious.
BTW here is one I modded from another member (which I will credit as soon as I can find it) for the 5950x to show all main cores centered and the others on the right side. Not for everyone but since I modded it already, why not share? :D

  9. Colors are not orange as it seem to look on the video but red..anyways, just a quick idea of what my setup is looking like.
Still debating on just having the tablet on my desk vs inside the PC..my wife says it looks kind of cool inside the PC :D
at first I was getting a small LCD but that did not do it for me...I wanted the OLED look lol

There are a couple ways to implement it, however it differs per device.  This solution was the one that worked for me.  Note that I'm on Android 5.1.1 on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, so hopefully it'll work for your device / version as well:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBKD068VIjE

I am on lineage os 14.1 which is lacking the file as i have been trying all sorts of things to make it work so i may just flash something older to get this done

    Thanks!!

Regarding your display, you may want to reach out to @odospace in the Odospace Remote Panel / Android thread.  He might be able to help.  The other option would be to modify one of the themes yourself.  While intimidating at first, it's actually pretty easy and fun as you tinker with it more.  The hardest part I think would be resizing background images, etc.  You can use Gimp (freeware) and the many tutorials for that.

As for the tablet wake question, my Samsung tablet is rooted.  Thus, I modified the boot scripts so that when the device detects a charge through the charging port (i.e. plugging it in), it boots the device.  Similarly, when a charge is not detected (i.e. unplugging it), it shuts down.  The shutdown is performed via the MacroDroid app, but  the function also requires root.  For all of this to work properly, I had to disable the USB trickle charge that sometimes is configured by default in BIOS.  Although my device is not mounted inside the case, I suspect that others may have employed a similar solution.

    That is very cool!
Is there like an XDA tutorial for that boot script mod you mentioned so that it turns on when it detects a charge? I am going to look into that App. And yes my tablet is rooted.
    Thanks!

what kind of sensor panel are u using. web version or odospace will be ok, otherwise, u can change your tablet resolution to 1280x800 which have plenty profile in this topic.

Tablet has pretty good screen with wide angle view than other screen ( 7 inch TFT, LCD...). So i think u should stick with it, and the resolution is far beyond your need

As far as i remember when u using remote sensor panel on android with a tap at screen will make it full screen and lock it there with no navigation around. It is much better than virtual screen that u using, in both performance and stability

So I have been trying all sorts of things. Right now I am using the SuperDisplay app. I tried odospace to the tablet but I had the  issue that after setting resolution to 1280x800, the panels still wont fit the screen.
I am trying the web version but I cannot get it to show anything except the window telling me what resolution to set the preview to.
I need to find some video tutorial LOL

How do you guys wake up your phones/tablets inside your PC..are you using some remote app or just open the case and wake it up?

Guys i have a Galaxy Tab 10.5 which resolution is 2560x1600.

I enter the resolution but i cannot make the panels shared here(unless they are same res as my tablet) to look full screen.

There is no way to stretch to screen or similar?

Also to use my tablet i have tried many options but not 100% happy with any because of the task bar showing which i cannot get rid of because I have other monitors and it seems the option is only to show on one or all.

Any ideas on how to best use my tablet be it wired or wireless for this is welcome. Or of anyone knows of a 10" or a bit smaller oled monitor (doubt that exists) that will be great.

    Thanks

For anyone wondering..I am really liking this one:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kelocube.mirrorclient&hl=en_US&gl=US
As it allows me to zoom the panel to fit the screen and no taskbar visible.

It is paid though but you can try before buying at least.
May be the one I will use if nothing else comes up better.

I was sick of dealing with overlays, so I started exploring using an old Android phone (4.7" 1280x720) as an LCD panel (odospace) using AIDA64 inspired by the various posts I've seen on Reddit over the years.

This is my first attempt (obviously inspired by cyberpunk).  I built a quick background in photoshop, and worked on setting up the layout.  Font is IBM Plex Mono.

    • Top box is FPS | Networking (up/down/totals) | Date | Time | Uptime
    • Left box is CPU based: Clock | Util | RAM Used | Temp | FAN | AIO | Power
    • Next is GPU based: Clock | Util | RAM Used | Temp | FAN1 | FAN2 | Power
    • Next is Disk | System Info | Per CPU Clock | Per CPU Util
    • Right box is Voltage | Temps
    • Bottom box is hostname | some covid stats | weather | WiFi connection speed | external IP

The bottom status bar is updating various values using a windows scheduled python script to collect data and write it directly onto the background image (external IP was blanked out from the screencap).  Aida64 picks up the image change automatically.

    Do you mind sharing it?
I was going to get an LCD and bought 2 then cancelled both after testing a small IPS LCD I have at home inside the PC I just couldnt stand the light gray blacks compared to my old Samsung Tab 10.5 OLED.
So either I am going to find a 8.9 or similar OLED instead of maybe just fit this 10.5 in there and call it a day :D
Now just working on getting the tablet to work as a monitor so I can use the sensor panels.

7 inch at 1024x600 is quite cheap, but it not a standard to follow, anw, I prefer make my own HUD at highest resolution then scale to any resolution I need, 2560x1600 is quad 1280x800. Btw, if u lazy to customize it, u can scale 1024x600 to 1280x800 quite easy, it has same ratio,

Thanks for that info. I think I am going to go with the 8" then if I can fit it vertical and horizontal in the spot i have for it.

8.9 inch 2560x1600 IPS, My case is ITX so it look quite big, quite satisfy with this one. I had been using 7 inch 1024x600 for a while, and it quite small, cant read clearly on it

    138451557_517523195886091_59321758145191

Now you got me thinking about getting the 8" instead. Just not sure how easy it is to "convert" to 1280x600 as it seems most users are using smaller devices...or am I wrong?
    Thanks

PS I was going to get this one:

I am using 2560x1600 but scale in 1280x800. Prefer it more than 1024x600

Do you come up with any idea, color, style, background, character or sth else could help

Do you have your LCD in your PC? The one 1280x800 I found was 8". Mind sharing phgoitos of your PC if you have it installed in it?

  19. Hi guys!
I am about to order a screen. Will it be a mistake to get a 1280x800 screen  in terms of more direct compatibility with the panels shared here? Or am I better off with 1024x600 screen?

Any specific resolution that is most used?
    Thanks!

    PS I decided to order a 7" 1024x600 one
