Hi Awol, thank-you but anyone knows if there is a way to found it in Europe to avoid to pay the extra taxes when we buy extra-europe products?

If you buy it in Europe, the price will increase to already include the sales taxes.

You either pay them yourself when you import the product, or the retailer passes the cost on to you when you buy the product. Either way, you're paying the taxes, they are not "extra".

To celebrate the premiere of halo TV series, let's have a halo theme style.

Is there some reason you aren't adding the actual files to any of your photos ?

When you post a photo of your new panel, please upload the actual panel alongside the photo - that's the whole point of this thread...

Sorry I'm new at this and not native english speaker, so bare at me if I'm not making sense. But I would like a help from you guys.

I was checking some templates here to tryout, but for some case when I import the sensor panel appear to bel totally out of scale.

Check you have Display Scaling set to 100%

For many high-res screens, Windows will default to 150% scaling...

Hey, thanks. I used the tool and accessed the 'Console' folder on the BeadaPanel. There is no 'anitmaion.ini' or animation.ini file. The only files are :

    animation.sh

    animation-backlight-off.sh

    animation-rotate-180.sh

    Readme.txt

Also, can I simply replace the video and pictures in the folders with any pictures or video as long as I dont exceed the 3GB storage space?

You can create an animation.ini file in the console folder - here's mine. I removed the pictures and video so I'm not sure what happens if you just replace them...

Note the backlight = 0 down the bottom - this switches off the panel when the host PC is off.

If you have more questions then lets go to https://forums.aida64.com/topic/8421-beada-and-standby/ instead of filling this thread :)

Nice panel, I really like it.

The reason I went with a Beadapanel for a sensor display is because it is 100% USB. Not as versatile as a monitor, but there is no connection to graphics card/chip, so no hit on graphics power/gaming.

It is a bit of a pain because it doesnt power down with my PC at shut down. I have to unplug it if I want it off. Otherwise, it goes into a screen saver mode at shut down.

You can just configure the BeadaPanel to have a brightness of 0 when it's in screen saver mode. Config tool is here - https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArGfiTxjUGUl_SJ6Kq2Ta46Tkxlj?e=EQBdgh

A question for the Beada fans here.

I am buying this particular Beada 6.8" Screen for the front of my Media Server case but will also be buying the Phone screen sized 5" model for a HTPC Formfactor PC build for my brother. This 6.8" inch one is an IPS Panel whereas the 5" one comes in both IPS and TFT screen types. Is it worth paying the extra $20 for the IPS version for a screen this size used as a Sensor panel or should I save that $20 which effectively pays for most of the shipping cost. (I know I can't buy a TFT version of the 6.8" screen as it only comes in an IPS version)

TFT screens always have weird colours and weird viewing angle issues - some more than others. The best ones can be pretty good, but IPS is generally a better technology, it's definitely worth the $20 more.
