ESET Detecting kerneld.v64

Hi, does anyone else is getting virus alert on the file kerneld.v64?

My ESET security product detect it as Win64/FinalWire.B (potentially unwanted application) and delete it right away!!

We haven't come across the same issue.  If you can, please report it as a false alarm to Eset.

BTW, that file is only used under 64-bit Windows Vista installations, so most likely you don't need that file anyway.

That's not our driver and that driver is not part of AIDA64.

The route of the file is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\FinalWire\AIDA64 Extreme\kerneld-v64.sys", so I think it is part of AIDA64.

The website you've linked lists very different files that are part of MSI software.  However, please note that the mentioned file of AIDA64 is already deprecated and blacklisted by Windows 11.
