Shared folders (what does real this mean?)

Why does it show me that I'm sharing folders when windows tells me that I'm not sharing any folders/disks?

The $ sign at the end of the folder names means that those are hidden shares.  They are default shares of every Windows installation.

thanks, I already thought I was sharing the contents of my computer's folders with someone else
