Anyone know why is shows my Core i-7 as a "Quadcore" under the 'Motherboard' field?

"CPU Type    QuadCore Intel Core i7-920, 2800 MHz (21 x 133)"

Is this normal for the program or is something wrong with my CPU?

Thanks for your help!

OK Thank you. I didn't know that, my gadget always shows 8 cores, but I guess it must mean 4x2 threads or something.

Thanks very much for your quick help Fiery!

Your processor has 4 cores and 2 threads per core (via HyperThreading), so a total of 8 CPU threads.  Other places may refer to your CPU as "4C/8T", meaning 4 cores and 8 threads total.
