ramtestr Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 What is the best way to detect ram Problems. Is it possible to test only 90 percent of ram ( I manage only 50/60 percent of the ram With "memory block size" on 512mb/1gb) Maybe there is another way? Specification: i7-4770K Corsair 1600Mhz 8GB (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10) Asus Z87-C Antec EarthWatts 550W Platinum Quote
Fiery Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 It's best to use as many RAM as possible. Just set it to 1 GB per thread for a total of 8 GB system memory. Regards, Fiery Quote
ramtestr Posted November 18, 2013 Author Posted November 18, 2013 If i set it to 1 GB per thread It will be 100 percent . It will Cause disk swapping ? Quote
Fiery Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 It will cause some swapping, but it is only a problem if you use a SSD. If you want to avoid swapping, then just use 512 MB per thread. Quote
