We've added support for Turing (Turzx) displays. It works with the following models:

- Turing 2.1-inch (480x480 pixels)
- Turing 3.5-inch (480x320 pixels)
- Turing 5-inch (800x480 pixels)
- Turing 7-inch (1024x600 pixels)
- Turing 8.8-inch (1920x480 pixels)

You can enable the LCD device from AIDA64 / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / LCD / Turing.

You can check it out in the latest AIDA64 beta build at:

https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta

Please let us know if you find any difficulties enabling or using this new feature. Also let us know if you've got another kind of LCD device that is currently unsupported by AIDA64.

Fiery

Finally, I have the time to test the TURZX display. I tried it on my Turing 8.8-inch (1920x480 pixels), and it works. However, when I put Windows to sleep mode, the device woke up Windows immediately. The only way I can do now is to rely on the TURZX software to 'Exit the software and shut down the device'.

Can the device be put to sleep and prevented from waking up Windows without relying on the TURZX software?

Thanks!

Are you sure it's the Turing device that wakes the system up?  We've checked it with a 8.8-inch Turing screen and it never wakes the system up.

What AIDA64 does is when it senses that the computer is about to go to sleep, it blanks the screen and stops communicating with LCD devices.  And it only resumes handling the screens once the computer resumed back from sleep.

Yes, it was the Turing device that woke the system up. I forgot to mention I connected the device to a 9-pin USB port.

When I put my computer to sleep, the screen went blank, but a few seconds later, my computer woke up. Even without using the AIDA64, the device would wake up the system. Every time I use the device, I rely on the TURZX software to 'Exit the software and shut down the device'.

I forgot to try connecting using USB type C to USB type A. When I'm free, I'll try it out and let you know.

Please check the following new beta update of AIDA64:

https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta

This version will turn the screen off when you close AIDA64 or when the computer goes to sleep.  Let me know how it works.

Hey! The new beta link update works😃. It switched off the screen when I quit AIDA64, and my computer no longer woke up from sleep mode. Thank you.

Note: Any .sensorpanel file will work, you just need to rename it from .sensorpanel to .tulcd and make sure the file is for your required screen size

Thanks for sharing first screen for Turzx screen.

I have noticed that. All sensorpanels files are compatible, and the only difference is the file name extension. I don't understand developer intention of diversity. Furthermore, I have found on the forum some 800 x 480 panels and customized for me. The screen now works like a rocket. I am so happy.

Hello, I wonder if there is a way to add air information to the sensor panel.

I'm not sure what "air information" means.  Can you please explain your request with more details?

Could be PM2.5 or just weather condition. Imagine having present weather condition icon on sensor panel 🤩

Yes, you need to close the Turzx app to let AIDA64 gain access to the LCD.

Thank you. I did it, it worked for a while, even if i have issues because it seems that i have problem to turn it on/off (it hangs), but i think is something system/motherboard/screen related.

Let's go deep! i saw that the 8.8 inches screen uses a different executable, "UsbMonitorS.exe" instead of "UsbMonitorL.exe" of the 5 inches...is it possible to use both screens one with native app and one with aida?
Thank you
