grAvox Posted yesterday at 03:37 AM Posted yesterday at 03:37 AM @Fiery the 8 inch should be here today or tomorrow i will have the usb dump for that asap. Would love to use aida for all my panels rather than split it through multiple programs when aida just does everything, i have a few other sensor panels using aida like a smartcool 2.1 and another turing 3.5 that im currently using aida for but to have all of the screens using the 1 program would be perfect! grAvox Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago thanks so much! ill report back soon. your the man for getting that done so damn fast. 8 inch never showed up but i will get the usb dump tomorrow for sure. Quote
grAvox Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Up and running like a champ. did have a little issue where it disconnected for no real reason but started it up again and its running perfect. i dont know if you could implement an option to rotate individual turing displays independently of each other? would be a great feature as all my screens are round different ways lol. Thanks again your the man @Fiery, will get the dump of the 8 inch tomorrow. Quote

Unfortunately it's not possible currently to use different rotation setting for different Turing screens. We will unlock that possibility in a future update to AIDA64. 1 Quote
grAvox Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago @Fiery noticed one little issue with some panel files. half the screen starts flashing the last image that was on it before loading into aida. doesn't happen with all just some. not sure if there is an issue with my particular screen or is it a limitation like i was reading earlier on in this thread? Photo: The firmware of the latest Turing screens is quite peculiar when it comes to how they update frames. Once the size of the image toe be sent to the display becomes too large, AIDA64 has to cut it in half to make sure the firmware can "digest" the data. So as your layout becomes more complex, the rendered image may cross over the threshold and would mean that it sadly has to be sliced up to make it work with the firmware. Quote
grAvox Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Ahh i see, is that something that could be remedied later on down the track? the files that it happens with do have a very complex image too them so now i understand. hopefully it can all be sorted later on down the track. Thanks again! Quote

Thanks again! It can only be remedied in case Turing provides a firmware update for their screens that would fix this issue. But I don't think the firmware can be updated on Turing screens at all 1 Quote
grAvox Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I see, just one of those things i guess, still pretty good for the price i think and it still can show all the info you need. weird how it can run video fine off the turzx app but on aida it struggles with a image but i guess different programs work in different ways lol. im just an end user i dont have the slightest on how this stuff works but im just glad i can use aida for all my screens now. just hope the 8 inch will also be implemented then its aida for all my panels! We will of course make sure to implement full support for the new Turing 8-inch screens as well. And quickly 🙂 1 Quote
