v8.00.8000 freezes when activating BeadaPanel LCD support

I upgraded to v8.00.8000 a few days ago and noticed my BeadaPanel display stopped showing data.  The application would not load.

I resorted to uninstalling everything and reinstalling from scratch.

Now, the application opens, but when I go to preferences->LCD0>BeadaPanel and click on "Enable BeadaPanel LCD support", the application freezes.

Is this a known issue?  Workaround (other than not enabling)?

Thanks

In AIDA64 please press Ctrl+D --> System Debug --> USB Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post.

Thanks,

Unfortunately still freezes (see screenshot) as soon as I click "Enable BeadaPanel LCD support"

Whatever changed in v8 broke it.

This is a fresh uninstall->install, so I have no configuration changes or customizations.

Thank you for checking the new beta out.  Please let us know what happens if you disconnect the BeadaPanel display device from your computer when the "Not Responding" issue happens in AIDA64.

I believe it is fixed.  I unplugged/plugged the panel BEFORE trying to enable the panel in AIDA64 and it worked fine.

I'm pretty sure the panel must have gone into a bad state that was reset by unplugging it.  The USB port must deliver continuous power to the panel even when the computer is off, which is why it required unplugging to reset it.

I'm glad it works again.  Thank you for letting us know about the resolution.
