Thank you for reporting this.

The alert you’re seeing is a false positive triggered by the new AIDA64 release. This can occasionally happen when a freshly compiled build is analyzed by antivirus engines before their signature databases are fully updated.

Please make sure that:

  • Windows Defender virus definitions are fully up to date
  • You have installed the latest Windows updates
  • You restart the system after updating

Hi, i am still running win-10 pro and have a registered version of Aida64 Extreme and got the update message, and updated the program.

After the update, it refused to run i looked in the windows logs, but do not see anything in applications, system or anywhere else, so i cannot share what any logs say.

Are there any other logs to look for?

I did uninstall and installed a new download off the website. and did get it running after messing with it for a bit.

It was not smooth like the updates from before. (I assume it's because of windows 11 stuff in the new code.)
