Sherminator98 Posted Wednesday at 03:24 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:24 AM I just updated to the latest version (8.25.8200) and my sensorpanel is now MIA-I've checked/unchecked show SensorPanel several times and hit apply, hit the reset position button. rebooted and reinstalled Aida64, all without any luck and no screen what so ever comes up. If I select OSD-same thing, nothing shows. I guess the Sensopanels are fixed now-they don't work 😛 Quote

Sherminator98 Posted Wednesday at 04:43 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 04:43 PM I did some more digging into this just now and I had question-is the installer jacked up? I used Revo Uninstaller remove Aida64, i had two instances installed according to it, removed both. Downloaded the ZIP file, extracted it my downloads file and ran the aida64.exe. If I remember correctly, it said there was files in the C:/program files/finalwire/aida folder, so I said to over write them. Aida wouldn't launch after this, so I deleted the files. I ran the aida64.exe in the download folder-Aida started installing, but never created a new directory in C:/program files like it did before. I tried to move the folder manually to the program files directory, but couldn't since Aida64 was running and I couldn't even find it in task manager. Winded up going into safe mode, deleting aida64.exe from the folder and restarted. When I booted back up, Unzipped the Aida64 ZIP file into my downloads folder, then took the Aida64 folder it created, and manually moved it to program files. Ran the Aida64.exe file and everything seems to be working now and restored my sensorpanel settings. I need to reboot to see if it will work again after that. Quote
Sherminator98 Posted Wednesday at 04:52 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 04:52 PM Ok the sensorpanel was working, but after I logged off-Nada-doesn't come up. I tried rebooting also after this, and still no Sensorpanel even though its checked off to display. I'm even more confused now. Quote

If yes, then try to reconfigure pinning in AIDA64 / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / SensorPanel. If it still doesn't help to have the SensorPanel reappear, then try to disable pinning and push the Reset Position button. Quote

I got my sensorpanel to display properly after that, but once I rebooted (new driver install) the Senorpanel is MIA. I didn't have it pinned to either one of my monitors prior to the reboot and I hit reset position button with no change and no sensorpanel displayed. Quote
booger.bear Posted Sunday at 12:18 AM Posted Sunday at 12:18 AM I have the same issue, except I'm a new user. So AIDA64 8.25 has NEVER displayed a sensor or OSD panel. I have fought with this for 3 days, for what should be a basic function of a "hardware monitor app". 12 installations (including re-installations) of versions 8.25, 8.20, 8.00, and 7.70. 7.7 displayed the panel right away. But I have an internal case display with 2560x1440, and I found literally 2 skins on the internet. So I want the scaleability of v8.xx. After changing multiple settings (.exe security and display resolution properties) and multiple installations and unistallations of 8.0, 8.2, 8.25 - including the .exe installers (both clean and over existing installations) and copying .zip file downloads into existing installations of "working" versions, 8.25 just doesnt work for me. And, yes, AIDA64 is reading ny sensors just fine within the AIDAS64 app. 8.0 took about 20 mins, but it finally displyed the sensor (and OSD) panels. And 8.20 installed over 8.0 is currently working after installing ove a working. . 8.25 did not. I am convinced that 8.25 just doesn't work and should not be called a "stable release". For my contribution to support... every time I have tried to remove 8.25, there has been an instance of AIDA64.exe shown in task manager that prevents full removal, with Task Manager saying it can't be stopped because "Access is denied". And trying to delete the program folder confirms AIDA64.exe is running. But commandline process kills claim there is no instance of the program to stop. I have no explanation of this. I am in my trial period and I chose AIDA64 as the "best-of-the best". But there's no way I will pay your asking price, when I can use free software with marginally lower capability and accuracy, but gets the 'basics' right. Reference: - ASUS Prime Z890m Motherboard. - No ASUS (or other dedicated) hardware monitoring software. - Razer Synapse/Chroma 4 for Razer keyboard, mouse, dock, and pad. - SignalRGB for AIO, Fan, and G.Skill RAM RGB control. - Phanteks Hi-res 5" display (case internal). Please update us with any changes or suggestions. Quote
